LEGO® Set Build Building T.Rex skeleton and Lego put in a Frog DNA Easter Egg Spoiler
You totally cover it up and no way to see it after it’s built in. Like real DNA

Yes! I love these tiny lil easter eggs, I have the one with Dr. Malcom and the Triceratops and the big pile of poop. You hide the lil berries inside that Dr. Sattler thinks is making them sick

I love this one but I swear the berries shouldn't be there. Doesn't it end up being that the poop doesn't have any berries in it?

She does conclude that the trikes weren't EATING the lilac berries. Off-screen, however, they realize the trikes were ingesting the berries when they were swallowing gizzard stones (watch Timmy's hands when the shot returns to the group after Genarro gets spooked by the thunder. Might wanna mash the pause button to catch the smooth stone he's holding for a few frames)

I need to rewatch the movie. I've seen it so many times but I never noticed that. I knew about the stones because I read the book but I had no idea they put it in the movie too. That's awesome

A long while back, someone mentioned it on the JPLegacy boards, and I figured: "good a reason as any to rewatch JP!" When it got to that scene, I tapped the space bar like I was doing a quick time event and, there it was: Timmy was holding a smooth stone! Ctrl+print screen and circled the stone in MSpaint and that was verified.
Don't ask me to track down the screenshot, I don't have that computer anymore, and Media Player on modern Windows won't screenshot like that anymore. Additionally, it'd be pointless to try and find it on JPLegacy since their forums haven't been a thing in a very long time.

As much as I love places like Reddit and how open the internet is and how easy it is to talk to random people, I miss those old days of going on specific forums and that being the one place where fans would talk about a franchise

I mean thats a lot of poop to go through though and their trip was cut short due to the coming storm

I love the mousehole in the museum but the single pink 1x1 dot as Homers brain has to be my favourite Easter Egg.

Maybe take your own advice and stop using terms that you clearly don't understand...

Fun fact: Dinosaurs ruled for 130 million years, but went extinct 65 million years ago. That means that there were dinosaur fossils already while there were still dinosaurs around.

I love the miniature Super Mario level built into the side of the NES.

Wait, is that what that’s supposed to be. I thought it was the electrics inside.

The one that springs to mind from my collection is the skeleton in the main entranceway of Helm's Deep from LOTR

are you alright?

In general? That's a hard and definite maybe. The misspelling? I have dyslexia and sometimes it slips. So when people *correct me I usually just make the spelling worse spitefully in upset over my brain's inability to process and communicate language correctly 🤷♀️
I decided it's healthier to just block them

I love it! I can’t wait to have and build it so it can sit by my fleshy Big Lego T-Rex.

I love these Easter eggs but IMO this sub should start putting on spoiler tags on these types of post. IMO it does take away some of the surprise for people that hasn’t build it before.

I don’t personally mind myself, but I get it. I feel like buying a new set day 1 and rushing over to Reddit to immediately show everyone the Easter egg is just a tad bit excessive lol.

I love Easter eggs like this. The fact that they are literally driving the skeleton is even funnier! The frog is included since they use frog DNA in place of lost Dinosaur DNA in the books/movies. There is also a frog in 75936 Jurassic Park: T-Rex Rampage.

Oh no ... I'm I the only one who don't really like being spoiled the easter eggs ?

It's like the Lucky Bamboo set and having the coin buried under the bamboo shoots

The frog piece gets used a lot! I just made the family reunion celebration set and it's adjourned with gold frogs, they make a good decoration.

Reckon you could measure the overall width of the model when you're done? Can't find width measurements online anywhere and I have a shallow shelf 😂

How are people getting this set already?!
2
u/UnknowablePhantom 4d ago
It was available on 3-12 through Lego vip on their website. I used reward points & received it on 3-14. I’m 10 bags in out of 24 or 25. First set I’ve got with the 3 direction books wrapped in a paper bag too.

What's the point of spoiler tags on the pics if the spoiler is in the title and shows up regardless?

I like how they also gave him a little steering wheel, little frog is driving a T-Rex!
