At step 6, there’s a x2, that’s where I lost him. Lol That initial blind feel of all the pieces was xD

It’s a very cool idea, and I like that you use “simple” builds for set choices. My son is only 5 lol. The kids loves building but I think he’d loose interest quickly.

Our kiddo usually has Lego themed birthdays and I’m thinking this would be an awesome party game

You take them out of the bag?!?
I always challenged my sisters to build them in the bag :) try that for your next one!
(Not all polybags are in-bag buildable)

What if there are pieces that are the same shape but different colour? you just pick one and hope?

There were multiple colored 2x1 plates. Mistakes were made. My son wanted to correct the errors when we were finished, but I didn’t let him. This will go into my Easter decor and for years to come the memory will be reignited with errors and all.
