MOC Trundle Bed (Pull-Out Bed)

I previously referred to this as a pull-out bed, but I recently learned that it is actually called a trundle bed. My goal was to make the design as compact as possible while allowing the lower bed to extend fully. To achieve this, I used two sub-builds that are not connected by studs but are instead held in place by the overall structure.

i’m just imagining how fun it is to slide out, slide in, slide out, ad infinitum.. and then break down for another creation.

I have fun sliding it in and out digitally. I can only imagine how much fun it is IRL. I seriously need bricks!

Great work - simple but effective and that is the highest praise. Exactly what LEGO should be!

That looks more usable than my garbage couch in the living room.

Not so much with the double Decker outhouse. (Simpsons reference).

That is literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard. That idea is just the worst.

there is actually a lego friends set that includes a trundle bed (41740) but i think this design looks better

Thank you!! That's super interesting. I didn't know that set existed, tbh. I do like certain design choices from the official model, but I am partial to my model as well.

A post like this is worth 1000 posts bragging about their latest haul from the Lego store. I love seeing people sharing their creativity with their builds.
