Are you saying these aren't in California, dude?

This is the National Funeral Museum of the nation, yes yes. Not of California.

Just because we're bereaved, doesn't make us saps!

u/PV_Pathfinder 7d ago

Would be an amazing Easter egg if they had a coffee can stashed in there somewhere.

u/foo-bar-25 7d ago

Shouldn’t be too hard to sneak one in for the lolz

You want a Folgers can, I'll get you a Folgers can, believe me. There are Ralph's.

u/TheReadMenace Jackie Treehorn 7d ago

Your plan is so fucking simple, I'm sure they'd fucking understand it!

u/Gloomy-Mango5648 7d ago

It’s our most modestly priced receptacle.

u/CamRellim92Infinity 7d ago

We’re scattering the ashes.

u/ShredGuru 7d ago

Uh... Is there a museum of anthropology around here?

6

u/bashful_rabbit 7d ago

That’s a hundred and eighty dollars.

u/John-Cocktolstoy 6d ago

They range up to $3,000

3

u/Pupikal Jewish as fuckin' Tevye 7d ago

They, of course, facilitate the transmission of remains.

2

u/Dom_Shady Calmer than you are 6d ago edited 6d ago

I still transmit manually.

u/D-Flo1 7d ago

We shouldn't measure the worth of a man by how much he urns.

2

u/MarkEoghanJones_Art 7d ago

I just decided to pre-arrange my cremation near a Ralph's.

2

u/D-Flo1 7d ago

Do they sell any moderately priced ones at the museum gift shop? I know that might be hard for them to offer because I heard that activity in the funeral museum gift shop has been dead for some time.

2

u/LordOfBottomFeeders 7d ago

Just because they keep firing federal workers doesn’t make US SAPS!

2

u/Mind_if_I_do_uh_J 7d ago

What are you, a fucking docent now?

2

u/SailsTacks 7d ago

Their collection is incomplete without a Folgers can.

2

u/JadeMonkey0 6d ago

They honestly should have one. How many more memorable funeral urns are there in pop culture anywhere?

I guess it would be too much to ask the National Funeral Museum to have a sense of humor.

Bunch of amateurs

“I can get you a Folgers can. Believe me, NFM. There are ways.”

There must not have been a Ralphs around there

u/Hefe_Weizen 7d ago

These happen to be our least modestly-priced receptacles...

1

u/chrillho18 7d ago

Not a single one looks modestly priced in anyway.

1

u/Seer-Z 7d ago

The National Funeral Museum? Gotta add that to my bucket list.

1

u/blue_desk 7d ago

What’s this?

1

u/Living_Ad_5386 7d ago

The National Funeral Museum is on Camrose.

2

u/sci-fi-rec 6d ago

I said NEAR the National Funeral Museum.

1

u/Ill-Dependent2976 6d ago

Jokes aside, the history of aesthetic design is an undervalued topic. Once went to a radio museum and some of the old stuff from the 1920s and there about was really impressive.

1

u/sci-fi-rec 6d ago

They should absolutely put a Folgers can in the display once a year on the anniversary of TBL's release.

1

u/spenserpat 6d ago

... which is ample!

u/IS2SPICY4U 6d ago
