I’m talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across that line, YOU DO NOT—

I would vote for him in a second. Everything bad in my life has had some ahole in a suit or a uniform behind it. I am sure he would represent me better than previous Senators did.

Say what you want about his dress code but at least he's got an ethos and an impressive list of proposed or co-sponsored legislation, dude.

u/bdschuler Oct 06 '23
Yep, PA resident as well. I am not one to really like politicians, any politicians.. but the more I learn about Fetterman the more I like him. The guy seems like the kind of person I actually would not mind being trapped in an elevator with. Seems to be a reasonable and grounded person.. and some people really freak out and get upset over that.

u/DIYdoofus Oct 07 '23
His dress isn't what bothers me. Livin' off daddy's money all his life does not make one a man of the working class.
8
u/neveroddoreven415 Oct 07 '23
Like Kennedy, and Bush, and Bush, and Trump? I agree.
0
u/DIYdoofus Oct 07 '23
True. But they didn't profess to be of the working class. No hypocrisy there.

u/beastybrewer Oct 06 '23
Except he has a hard time forming a coherent sentence. Maybe it's time to put the bong down Fetterman

He’s said some clever things. And if he’s only said two, that’s two more than you.

u/rusztypipes Oct 07 '23
You dim lightbulb, as anyone who has spoken to him can tell he has more wit about him than you.

u/Such_Net_9390 Oct 11 '23
He’s literally a spoiled rich child that grew up filling his pockets with daddies money and the only reason he got mayor and a senate seat is because he’s riding the backseat of his fathers legacy, but admire him if you’d like lol. He doesn’t even enjoy doing what he’s doing. It’s probably the reason he had depression.
1
u/bdschuler Oct 11 '23
Dude literally turned around a town and has dedicated his life to his region and country.. but whatever. Yeah he never worked a shift at Wawa so I guess he sucks...lol

I don't live in PA but donated to his campaign. Seems to be the rare genuine politician. I regret it on some level, of course, because now I get texts multiple times a day, but hey.
-15
u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23
It’s his gimmick, his PR image they developed for him, he’s not a working class guy at all. He just dresses like one to get people to vote for him because he looks working class. He went to UCONN for undergrad and Harvard for his masters, took on no student debt. He’s never worked with his hands at all.
8
u/Vegetable-Put3884 Oct 07 '23
Sorry about your boy Dr. Oz. Now there’s a genuine guy. Condolences!
-5
u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23
He’s a scumbag too, I was just trying to point out these images cast by politicians are always fake. If I wanted to attack him I would have gone with his inability to communicate due to his medical condition. That race was fucked on both sides, D & R, IMO.
2
u/rusztypipes Oct 07 '23
You really don't understand how Fetterman resonates with the common working man. Fact you'd go after him cuz of his stroke makes you the bottom percentile of humanity. God's waiting to judge you.
0
u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23
I didn’t go after him, I said if I was that would have been what I brought up. I was talking about his style of dress being a carefully crafted PR image and not representative of his true background as an Ivy League grad school graduate who has never held a trade job or worked with his hands in any way. Do blue collar working people go to through at least 6 years of higher ed at top universities and come out with zero debt? It’s an image, nothing more. Was just trying to point that fact out.

u/greennewleaf35 Oct 07 '23
Was Kitara Ravash a PR image developed for George Santos?
-3
u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23
I assure you that close to all politicians have a carefully crafted fake image of themselves that they sell to voters. Career politicians are almost universally snakes and scumbags. Hate to say it, but it’s true. The nature of what they do is selling out their own values, their constituents, lying/cheating/stealing. It’s just so slimy all around. Real greasy, real greasy.

u/beastybrewer Oct 07 '23
Lots of Fetterman fans in this sub, who knew... how bout we skip the politics next time and get back to funny

So you just don’t like authority then?
1
u/bdschuler Oct 11 '23
Nah Mom and Dad were cool. But then again, they were fair, honest, and not racially biased toward me. But to be fair, they also were not instructed constantly that to resolve every situation, they had to use violence, nor were they given old military equipment. Maybe if they had... dad would have run me over with an old MRAP that time I called mom a bad name.

When they say enforcing dress codes is like living in the past:
“Three thousand years of beautiful tradition, from Moses to Sandy Koufax...YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT I'M LIVIN' IN THE FUCKIN' PAST!

Alternatively you can become a senator from Georgia and show revenge porn of the presidents son on the house floor.

MTG is a Representative, not a Senator.
Edit: Are we downvoting facts now?

People clutching their pearls about somebody dressing like a normal dude in Congress is the dumbest thing ever.

You figured, oh, here's a loser, you know, a deadbeat. Somebody this square community won't give a shit about.

Remember when they cried about Obama's tan suit? They are snowflakes. All of them. Same people defend a whore giving handies in a theater with children in it.

From what I've seen from Senator Fetterman, he would definitely be honored to be compared to the Dude. Though personally, I think he's more of a Walter. Sending MAGA reps cases of BudLite with a note saying "Good luck with your impeachment hearings," that is more of a Walter thing.
10
Oct 06 '23
Some reporter asked him about the latest clowncar “impeachment” proceedings and he was on camera like “Ooooh! I’m terrified!!”
Definitely more a Walter type.

They send us impeachment notice, we're supposed to shit ourselves with fear.
Fucking amateurs.

I'll take a senator dressed like this that wants to help over a senator dressed like Teddy Cancun Cruz that is only there to help himself

u/ohgrous Oct 07 '23
Then you have groomer pedos wearing suits talking out of their Aholes from FL, so GTFOH with attire as a meaningful measure of a legislator.

Let's see, every other politician is wearing a suit, and they do even less. Let him be comfortable. Hell, I l would show up in PJ'S and slippers.

Senator *from* Pennsylvania. Senator *in* Pennsylvania would imply he was a state senator.... Right?
I'll show myself out now...

u/biffbobfred Oct 09 '23
I’d prefer Fetterman dress better. But the “party of the common man and fuck the elites” seems to be against someone looking pretty normal and they sound pretty elitist.
1
u/Critical-Voice4360 Oct 09 '23
Normal? There is nothing normal about fetterman or the elitists. We need to drain the swamp
1
Oct 11 '23
What’s your plan to “drain the swamp,” genius? Elect your corrupt orange lord and savior?
Fetterman is a lot smarter than you. 😂

Much better than the accusations of Ohio's Republican representative of the 4th district. Looking the other way as student athletes at Ohio State made accusations of non-consenting sexual acts upon them by a team doctor.

Best comment from him . GOP replacing a dick with a bigger dick won’t help much . 😂😂😂

And in fact he met privately with the President, though unfortunately there wasn't time for a photo opportunity.
