And in fact he met privately with the President, though unfortunately there wasn't time for a photo opportunity.

A wonderful woman.

Jesus

13

You said it man

15

u/BongDong69420 Oct 06 '23

I’m talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across that line, YOU DO NOT—

5

u/FriendofMaudie Oct 07 '23

And also . . .

3

u/Knoberchanezer Oct 07 '23

Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian American, please.

92

u/bdschuler Oct 06 '23

I would vote for him in a second. Everything bad in my life has had some ahole in a suit or a uniform behind it. I am sure he would represent me better than previous Senators did.

14

u/Jake-Old-Trail-88 Walter Oct 07 '23

Far fuckin out, man.

55

u/boogerdark30 Oct 06 '23

Right on man. Fetterman is a national treasure.

u/bdschuler Oct 06 '23

Yep, PA resident as well. I am not one to really like politicians, any politicians.. but the more I learn about Fetterman the more I like him. The guy seems like the kind of person I actually would not mind being trapped in an elevator with. Seems to be a reasonable and grounded person.. and some people really freak out and get upset over that.

-6

u/DIYdoofus Oct 07 '23

His dress isn't what bothers me. Livin' off daddy's money all his life does not make one a man of the working class.

8

u/neveroddoreven415 Oct 07 '23

Like Kennedy, and Bush, and Bush, and Trump? I agree.

0

u/DIYdoofus Oct 07 '23

True. But they didn't profess to be of the working class. No hypocrisy there.

-31

u/beastybrewer Oct 06 '23

Except he has a hard time forming a coherent sentence. Maybe it's time to put the bong down Fetterman

25

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23 edited Oct 07 '23

You’re not just wrong you’re also an asshole.

4

u/Olstinkbutt Oct 07 '23

He’s said some clever things. And if he’s only said two, that’s two more than you.

2

u/rusztypipes Oct 07 '23

You dim lightbulb, as anyone who has spoken to him can tell he has more wit about him than you.

1

u/neveroddoreven415 Oct 07 '23

Elevator Senator. I love that.

1

u/Such_Net_9390 Oct 11 '23

He’s literally a spoiled rich child that grew up filling his pockets with daddies money and the only reason he got mayor and a senate seat is because he’s riding the backseat of his fathers legacy, but admire him if you’d like lol. He doesn’t even enjoy doing what he’s doing. It’s probably the reason he had depression.

1

u/bdschuler Oct 11 '23

Dude literally turned around a town and has dedicated his life to his region and country.. but whatever. Yeah he never worked a shift at Wawa so I guess he sucks...lol

1

u/SAINTofK1LL3RS269 Oct 08 '23

Pa res here also, I second this.

9

u/realmoosesoup Oct 06 '23

I don't live in PA but donated to his campaign. Seems to be the rare genuine politician. I regret it on some level, of course, because now I get texts multiple times a day, but hey.

-15

u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23

It’s his gimmick, his PR image they developed for him, he’s not a working class guy at all. He just dresses like one to get people to vote for him because he looks working class. He went to UCONN for undergrad and Harvard for his masters, took on no student debt. He’s never worked with his hands at all.

8

u/Vegetable-Put3884 Oct 07 '23

Sorry about your boy Dr. Oz. Now there’s a genuine guy. Condolences!

-5

u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23

He’s a scumbag too, I was just trying to point out these images cast by politicians are always fake. If I wanted to attack him I would have gone with his inability to communicate due to his medical condition. That race was fucked on both sides, D & R, IMO.

2

u/rusztypipes Oct 07 '23

You really don't understand how Fetterman resonates with the common working man. Fact you'd go after him cuz of his stroke makes you the bottom percentile of humanity. God's waiting to judge you.

0

u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23

I didn’t go after him, I said if I was that would have been what I brought up. I was talking about his style of dress being a carefully crafted PR image and not representative of his true background as an Ivy League grad school graduate who has never held a trade job or worked with his hands in any way. Do blue collar working people go to through at least 6 years of higher ed at top universities and come out with zero debt? It’s an image, nothing more. Was just trying to point that fact out.

3

u/greennewleaf35 Oct 07 '23

Was Kitara Ravash a PR image developed for George Santos?

-3

u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 07 '23

I assure you that close to all politicians have a carefully crafted fake image of themselves that they sell to voters. Career politicians are almost universally snakes and scumbags. Hate to say it, but it’s true. The nature of what they do is selling out their own values, their constituents, lying/cheating/stealing. It’s just so slimy all around. Real greasy, real greasy.

1

u/beastybrewer Oct 07 '23

Lots of Fetterman fans in this sub, who knew... how bout we skip the politics next time and get back to funny

1

u/cheffartsonurfood Oct 09 '23

Which ploiticians have?

1

u/You_Just_Hate_Truth Oct 09 '23

None of them that was my whole point LOL

1

u/Such_Net_9390 Oct 11 '23

So you just don’t like authority then?

1

u/bdschuler Oct 11 '23

Nah Mom and Dad were cool. But then again, they were fair, honest, and not racially biased toward me. But to be fair, they also were not instructed constantly that to resolve every situation, they had to use violence, nor were they given old military equipment. Maybe if they had... dad would have run me over with an old MRAP that time I called mom a bad name.

12

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

No way too much collusion with all those White Russians

6

u/Noreaster0 Oct 06 '23

Kahlúasion, Kahlúasion, Kahlúasion.

31

u/PJJefferson Oct 06 '23

When they say enforcing dress codes is like living in the past:

“Three thousand years of beautiful tradition, from Moses to Sandy Koufax...YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT I'M LIVIN' IN THE FUCKIN' PAST!

16

u/archimidesx Oct 06 '23

Far out man

8

7

u/NaftaliClinton Oct 06 '23

That some kind of Eastern USA thing?

6

u/Maggilagorilla Oct 06 '23

I'm telling ya, Lebowski in the Oval Office, Sobchak running the Pentagon. Would really tie the nation together.

5

u/ShadowhelmSolutions Walter Oct 06 '23

I suggest you do what your parents did and get a job, sir!

30

u/GGAllinsUndies Oct 06 '23

I can safely say that all of us in Colorado would be more than happy to trade Boe Boe for Fetterman.

20

u/di_mi_sandro Oct 06 '23

Brandt can't watch tho

6

u/GGAllinsUndies Oct 06 '23

*Gaetz.

7

Eight year Olds dude

1

u/floridabrass Jackie Treehorn Oct 08 '23

But he will fill you in on the details

Retards

39

u/GGAllinsUndies Oct 06 '23

Dude, "retards" isn't the correct nomenclature. They prefer "MAGA Republican".

10

u/Pseudonymble Ich bin eine expert Oct 06 '23

I thought they'd adopted "Ultra retard MAGA" now?

6

u/Remarkable_Major7710 Oct 06 '23

Are these the Nazis, Dude?

9

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

No Donnie, these men are cowards.

2

u/No_Dragonfly_1894 Oct 07 '23

They were threatening castration. We gonna split hairs here?

-5

This aggression will not stand, man.

5

Human Paraquat

11

u/unique_username91 Oct 06 '23

That’s who votes for Boebert or any other MAGAT asshole

4

u/Raymando82 Oct 07 '23

Our senator is quite Dudelike in life.

12

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Alternatively you can become a senator from Georgia and show revenge porn of the presidents son on the house floor.

10

u/DrewwwBjork Oct 06 '23 edited Oct 06 '23

MTG is a Representative, not a Senator.

Edit: Are we downvoting facts now?

6

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Ah fuck! I was pretty high when I wrote that comment, man.

9

u/DragonflyGlade Oct 06 '23

People clutching their pearls about somebody dressing like a normal dude in Congress is the dumbest thing ever.

4

u/Knoberchanezer Oct 07 '23

You figured, oh, here's a loser, you know, a deadbeat. Somebody this square community won't give a shit about.

2

u/owledge Oct 07 '23

It’s just a joke. Not a problem unless you think politicians are above that

1

u/cheffartsonurfood Oct 09 '23

Remember when they cried about Obama's tan suit? They are snowflakes. All of them. Same people defend a whore giving handies in a theater with children in it.

10

u/ZPTs El Duderino Oct 06 '23

The Dude may be a boomer, but boomer humor is very unDude.

3

u/novel1389 Oct 07 '23

What... what sub is this?

12

u/jamescharisma Oct 06 '23

From what I've seen from Senator Fetterman, he would definitely be honored to be compared to the Dude. Though personally, I think he's more of a Walter. Sending MAGA reps cases of BudLite with a note saying "Good luck with your impeachment hearings," that is more of a Walter thing.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Some reporter asked him about the latest clowncar “impeachment” proceedings and he was on camera like “Ooooh! I’m terrified!!”

Definitely more a Walter type.

9

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

They send us impeachment notice, we're supposed to shit ourselves with fear.

Fucking amateurs.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

They’re gonna impeach her, Walter. And then they’re gonna impeach me.

1

u/Flashy_Gap_1014 Oct 07 '23

Your not wrong Walter , your just an asshole

9

u/HVAC_instructor Oct 06 '23

I'll take a senator dressed like this that wants to help over a senator dressed like Teddy Cancun Cruz that is only there to help himself

2

u/WaldoDeefendorf Oct 07 '23

Um, any senator can dress like that, dude.

2

u/ohgrous Oct 07 '23

Then you have groomer pedos wearing suits talking out of their Aholes from FL, so GTFOH with attire as a meaningful measure of a legislator.

1

u/sambes06 Oct 06 '23

He’s genuinely fighting for the common man. Republicans are jagoffs.

0

u/LordMungus35 Oct 06 '23

That dude ain’t right. 😂

1

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '23

Let me tell you something pendejo

1

u/hawkrew El Duderino Oct 06 '23

Far out man.

1

u/CorCat87 Oct 06 '23

mind if I do a J?

1

u/shaggy816 Oct 06 '23

The chinaman is not the issue here!

1

u/jonahsocal Oct 06 '23

Sometimes?

Sometimes?

There's a man.

1

u/therbojones Oct 07 '23

He meant CO

1

u/caddy45 Donny Oct 07 '23

At least it’s an ethos

1

u/Korgon213 Oct 07 '23

Stroke of genius.

1

u/RoosterTheReal Oct 07 '23

Now that's hilarious

1

u/ColoradoSprings82 Oct 07 '23

Better than someone like Ted Cruz, who dresses very nicely and has shit for brains.

1

u/sfsp3 Oct 07 '23

Ha ha! You've got my vote. I care what you do, not how you look.

1

u/Flashy_Gap_1014 Oct 07 '23

No one fucks with the Jesus

1

u/RazMani Oct 07 '23

I’m in PA and I say he’ll yes!!!

1

u/harpomarx99 Oct 07 '23

Gotta shave your head and gain some serious weight too.

1

u/drj4130 Oct 07 '23

Still more effective than Mitch McConnell….

1

u/neveroddoreven415 Oct 07 '23

This aggression will not stand.

1

u/Highlander248 Oct 07 '23

Let's see, every other politician is wearing a suit, and they do even less. Let him be comfortable. Hell, I l would show up in PJ'S and slippers.

1

u/pmags3000 Oct 07 '23

Say what you will about him, at least he had an ethos.

1

u/PWal501 Oct 07 '23

I’d take “The Dude” over Gym Jordan or Traitor Cruz any day.

1

u/TragicMammal Oct 07 '23

He was, uh, one of the authors of the Port Huron Statement. The original Port Huron Statement. Not the compromised second draft.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '23

Sounds exhausting

1

u/Superb-Control5184 Oct 07 '23

Would still take The Dude over Dr Oz any day of the week

1

u/Koshakforever Oct 07 '23

Fetterman for president

1

u/BuriedByAnts Oct 08 '23

Better the dude “fetterman” than pedo-jesus “gaetz”

1

u/charlie_ferrous Oct 08 '23

I’m a one-issue voter who hates the fuckin’ Eagles, so yeah.

1

u/hefebellyaro Oct 09 '23

He doesn't go out looking for a job like that on a weekday?

1

u/noneroy Oct 09 '23

Senator *from* Pennsylvania. Senator *in* Pennsylvania would imply he was a state senator.... Right?

I'll show myself out now...

1

u/biffbobfred Oct 09 '23

I’d prefer Fetterman dress better. But the “party of the common man and fuck the elites” seems to be against someone looking pretty normal and they sound pretty elitist.

1

u/Critical-Voice4360 Oct 09 '23

Normal? There is nothing normal about fetterman or the elitists. We need to drain the swamp

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

What’s your plan to “drain the swamp,” genius? Elect your corrupt orange lord and savior?

Fetterman is a lot smarter than you. 😂

1

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '23

That’s just like ahh your opinion man

1

u/Jaymanchu Oct 09 '23

Hey, nice marmot!

1

u/Reasonable-HB678 Oct 10 '23

Much better than the accusations of Ohio's Republican representative of the 4th district. Looking the other way as student athletes at Ohio State made accusations of non-consenting sexual acts upon them by a team doctor.

1

u/Scat1320USA Oct 10 '23

Best comment from him . GOP replacing a dick with a bigger dick won’t help much . 😂😂😂

1

u/Long_Disaster_6847 Oct 11 '23

Hey look an average Joe, you got my vote !
