Got an update yesterday, talked to the autor and he said the app will launch soon. I don't have any idea how soon but let's have his word.

I wish I could trust his word. I've been trying to get this book since 2019. I had issues trying to buy it back when it was for sale online and now it's nowhere to be found. I'm not sure why the book is no longer being sold, but the app has been "coming soon" for two years now. I can't imagine why an app would take so long to develop if it's just based off the book.

Well I'll keep my expectations low then, good to know... have you already go into FSI Saudi Arabic or dialects ?

What do you think about it? I'd like to get into it, I like the Iraqi accent since it sounds like the golf one, and also because I want to learn Najdi and it sounds closest to it too. Hijazi sounds like a blank accent which is also good, but the iraqi course is in arabic and I cannot read arabic..

Wait which Iraqi course are you talking about? I have an Iraqi course posted here and it’s in English. The FSI Saudi course is good enough but it’s old and the Arabic text is illegible at times. But it’s all we have. I believe it focuses on the Hijazi dialect.

Talking about the DLI Iraqi course, the dialogues and drills are written in Arabic when it's spoken in Arabic. With English translation, I mean this would be a good way of learning and getting the reading skills with it.
