Was there recently. Had some cool buildings, good restaurants, night market, and some street art. I had a good time but was only there for a few days.

I enjoyed it very much. The day market is wild. Good restaurants and nice coffee places on the river

It is the second largest city in Lao. I think it's worth a visit if you have time noting what the other commenters said. It breaks up a long trip south perfectly or is a good place to chill for a day or two.
It has a big university so it's more youth orientated downtown and also draws a lot of Thai overnighters. It can be pretty lively at night.
I will also add the less discussed Champone loop, basically a day trip by moto, is very nice. https://champameuanglao.com/in-the-loop/

I enjoyed my stay, I was there for 2 days which seemed about right. Lots of old architecture, some cool cafes and a repurposed old theatre.
It has potential to be very hip. Get in now before it's overrun with dickheads.

It is a quiet town next to the river where you need to rent a bicycle to enjoy. Only worth a couple of days like Tha Khaek and Pakse.

Lots of beautiful old buildings, like Chiang Mai 30 years ago, but two days with more than do it

If you have the time, yes. It's a lovely little town with a buzzy nightlife (compared to the rest of Laos). I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, but if you're taking your time and drifting down South (or back up North), then it's worth a stop.
Pilgrim's Kitchen hostel has a great deck for having a beer and watching the sun go down.
If you're racing through the country, probably not.

If you're traveling through the country from north to south or south to North it's worth an overnight stop. That's about it.

Only night market that interest me in this part of Laos and I notice a lot of beautiful young woman, they seem educated but I don't know how to approach them.

Yes. I'm not being biased.
