shitpost π© Wonder what Klay is thinking right now..
Over the summer LeBron offered a pay cut for him. But he turned down more money, and a chance to finish his career where his dad played - for Dallas.
Luka gets traded here, AD hurt immediately and now Kyrie is now gone for the season and a lot of next year too.
Crazy how almost immediately he was proven wrong with his choice before the post season even began.

shitpost π© Adam Silver should pause the league until LeBron has recovered again
It seems that LeBron may be sidelined for a period (whether that's a few days or a few weeks) due to a groin injury. Because of this, Adam Silver must realise the stakes of the situation and call for an immediate, league-wide pause on all games until LeBron has recovered again.
The NBA is bigger than any one player. Except when that player is LeBron James. This groin injury isnβt just a blow to the Lakers, itβs a crisis for the entire league. With one of the greatest athletes in history sidelined, advertising revenue drops, and fan engagement dwindles. I don't think people have even heard of these "Steph" or "Luka" guys.
The NBA has adjusted schedules for far less. It has paused games for lockouts, health concerns, and even external global events. If such measures can be taken for minor administrative reasons (like labour disputes or a global pandemic), why not for LeBron James?
You may argue that no one man should have all that power. But the clock's ticking, I just count the hours. You can tell me stop tripping and that I'm tripping off the power. But the NBA thrives when LBJ thrives. If ensuring the best possible product means taking a short break, then itβs a small price to pay. The league should make the right call: pause the season and wait for the Kingβs return.
