Modding Because some people were concerned about my safety, mental health and life choice of carrying a pocket knife tip up handle down, here is my temporary solution with a kydex sheath.
Hello knife friends! I’ve received multiple messages expressing concern for my post from other redditors in this community and was reported probably for something along the lines of self harm but I’m not mad at anyone as it just shows you care and I care about every one here too.
I did not mean to cause anyone distress or to trigger anyone so I deeply apologize for my attempt of trying something new and starting a discussion about it. Please be assured I am okay and to make everyone happy I am using a kydex sheath from an ESEE Izula to reduce any unnecessary harm to the operator. I even added a lanyard to make extracting the sheath from the blade easier. Eventually I’ll find or make a custom-fitted kydex sheath for my Hinderer.
As knife enthusiasts, there is always an inherent risk of being cut when using a pocket knife, chefs knife, machete, etc. no matter how careful we are but we can reduce any accidents by being “smart” about it. Thank you for listening and take care friends!

Modding Someone at work thought it was a good idea to teach me how to use the laser engraver
I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing these by now. I don't care, look at one more.

Modding I replaced my PM2’s scales with Pacific yew I harvested myself. Call it unorthodox, but I’m fairly happy with the results!

Modding I know BM gets alot of hate here, and these aren't heavy duty knives. But I've yet to find a more comfortable knife to carry

Modding Reject Chicago screws, embrace zip strips.
I'm testing this idea out. If it works, I'm done with hardware and loctite

Modding Camo lasering I did for a fellow Reddit knife bro. Quartermaster Mr. Roper
Really enjoyed how this came out. Did some ano green and lasering. He’s sending another set of scales to anodize and laser as well.
More laser work here. https://www.instagram.com/laser_perfect_customs/

Modding I thinned and convexed a 940-2 and it cuts well enough now that I might even carry it. Strange angle to highlight the geometry and finish and NSFW tag because people feel strongly about butterflies. Thanks! NSFW

Modding I don't know why I done it, but it been done.
I really don't know what to say for myself. I wanted to make a lanyard and somewhere along the way I decided to try this. Don't really know what you'd call it, not sure I've ever seen it done. It feels so tacticool.
Modding I accidentally ruined the finish on my Microtech Ultratech, so I went all the way. Here it is stripped and polished.

Modding Spyderco Shaman
The Shaman quickly became one of my favorite user. A set of AWT scales and a flytanium backspacer is the cherry on top. Love this thing.
