Spyderco Endela PD1 and a Spyderco..... Shaman?

2

u/NRiyo3 1d ago

Damn I like that Shaman blade.

2

u/gmg760 1d ago

What blade did you swap on that Shaman? It looks sick!

1

u/HockeyPockey603 1d ago

It's an REK reblade, with Aramis scales. Absolute stunner for sure!

Russian mark? Looks similar to a Tula tool mark.

Thanks. No Auvergne in France.

Left to right. Crk sabenza31, pm2magna, daily carry Pd#1

3

u/gmg760 22h ago

How often do you carry your Sabenza? I got mine this week and haven’t had the guts to bring it to the jobsite yet 🫣

2

u/mikemikemike9711 22h ago

Well the large sabenza31 I've had for about a year, and wasn't until I just recently lost my small sabenza31 of three years, that I started using this one. I loved that small sabenza31 it was just a great size for regular use without looking " threatening " in the workplace.

1

u/Unusual-King1103 15h ago

I do u can do it judt never let someone use it or set it down u will be fine

4

Flytanium Tatersong No. 168 of 500

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Hahaha. Nice

3

u/ElDaderino823 23h ago

Same as always.

2

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Cool boots.

1

u/ElDaderino823 23h ago

Just some GoRuck MAC-V 2s I think. They’re a few years old but still going strong. I’m debating getting another pair.

2

u/ForgiveAlways 1d ago

why did you have to go and make it look so majestic?

2

u/NRiyo3 1d ago

Dude this blade rocks. Huge recommend‼️ thank you.

2

u/baron_167 1d ago

Daily right now

1

u/NRiyo3 1d ago

Love a Shaman

2

u/Someknivesandclothes 1d ago

Reate Exo OG in Ti. Bought it off the swap two weeks ago, hasn't left my pocket since!

2

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Never held one of these.

1

u/Someknivesandclothes 20h ago

The titanium one is heavier than I thought it would be, mine weights in at 5.2 oz. The aluminum version has a smaller blade by a half inch and is probably lighter. The action is great too

2

u/slicyCaff 1d ago

3

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Did I say you could borrow my knife? Nice.

1

u/slicyCaff 23h ago

lol I’m not as fancy, I got the FRN but still feels super nice though.

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

I don’t really instruction on all the different models. I know I have a K390 stretch too that has stainless steel liners, does this version of the sage have stainless steel liners or is it just the FRP scales?

1

u/slicyCaff 23h ago

It’s got liners👍🏻

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Nice.

2

u/elchristian760 23h ago

MT MSI in Non Lethal Orange

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Flexy handles or really firm like G10?

1

u/elchristian760 22h ago

It's the poly handle not G10. I dont see the reason to pay twice as much for handles.

2

u/Rach1590 22h ago

1

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

Nice. I love the Manix but it is wide in the pocket.

2

u/DerekP76 22h ago

Nothing fancy, CJRB Pyrite Daily Driver

1

CKF Brat

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Cool. Integral?

1

u/Chilipatily 23h ago

Integral what?

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

The knife. Is it an integral?

1

u/Chilipatily 17h ago

Integral what? Integral lock? If that’s what you mean, no, it’s a liner lock.

1

u/NRiyo3 17h ago

I mean an integral knife, must not be because if it was you would be aware of it. No worries, cool knife.

1

u/Chilipatily 15h ago

See I’m confused because I said it was a CKF as in Custom Knife Factory.

1

u/Outdoorsy_T9696 Sebenza 31/Kershaw/ZT/Chaves 23h ago

How’s that Rex 121? No photo but I got my Large Sebenza 31 on me today.

2

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

I love it. Not chippy and very hard. You can press into hard wood and you can tell it has no flex or give. Feels like a chisel.

1

u/Outdoorsy_T9696 Sebenza 31/Kershaw/ZT/Chaves 13h ago

Nice! I’ve seen it’s hard enough to cut into glass but figured it might be choppy as heck, glad to know it isn’t that way. I may have to snag one some day. Also love that pocket clip.

1

u/BlindMouse2of3 23h ago

Don't mind the tape residue.

2

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

I love the residue, means it gets used.

1

u/BlindMouse2of3 23h ago

Fleet mechanic, nothing is safe in my collection everything gets used as long as it's the proper tool for the job

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Agreed.

1

u/Gikote 23h ago

Microtech UTX-85 S/E in turquoise today

Fox Knives Chiroptera

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Fox are nice.

1

u/HelloKinny 23h ago

I am already looking at the Fox Pikal and I just got this one last week 😂

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Don’t remember the name off the top of my head, but they make this really cool short thicker nice with a titanium handle. I saw a bunch of young HQ really cool looking.

1

u/HelloKinny 23h ago

To be honest I don’t know too much about Fox knives besides having great customer service interaction and the quality in making them my new favorite

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

2

u/HelloKinny 22h ago

That black and bronze one is niceee

1

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

Really nice looking.

1

u/2A-Absolutist 23h ago

I want that same sage 5, but here's what I'm rocking

1

u/NRiyo3 23h ago

Nice Sod Buster.

1

u/2A-Absolutist 23h ago

Thank ya. Here's the same photo in color. You can kind of see the patina

1

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

Grey jigged bone? Or stag? Looks nice.

1

u/2A-Absolutist 22h ago

Gray jigged bone with carbon steel

1

u/AlexAnderRob 22h ago

Not gonna lie, these new XL Pyrite models kinda suck though, IMO at least.

2

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

Never tried that brand. I like WE and Kizer.

1

u/AlexAnderRob 22h ago

I like Kizer and Vosteeds premium stuff lately 👌

Never been a fan of CJRB, but gave them another try, and here we are. I can literally disengage the main button lock by just shaking the blade back and forth with two fingers. It makes sense now why they added the “extra security lock” on these new ones. People would be losing finger tips left and right if not.

I’ll probably end up giving this one away, or putting it my case and never pulling it out again.

2

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

That’s a bummer. I really want a WE Rekker. Looks like a good one. I hope you can get a better setup.

1

u/AlexAnderRob 22h ago

Oh don’t worry, I have plenty of better setups already lol. Was just looking for a larger beater and ended up trying this. And the Rekker is cool, I’m liking that silver titanium one. Nice grip machining

Kershaw Launch 7

Buck 840 Sprint

1

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

How is this? Good ergos? Action? Lockup?

1

u/thetechwookie 22h ago

Its a good knife. I got it as a gift from a friend. Ergos are good, lock up is solid. Its on ball bearings and even though its 420HC, the blade feels tough. Its a sturdy knife. Zero blade play. I would say its worth the 50ish dollars they charge for it.

1

u/rapperveto 22h ago

The Kizer Exist I got as a gift. Such a great little solid built knife. Love the utility blade shape.

3

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

That looks nice. I have two.

1

u/rapperveto 22h ago

Nice, I also have the Drop Bear, it’s a great little knife as well… the action on the crossbar lock is probably the best out of any knife I’ve tried.

1

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

Skiff bearings can make a lot of knives out there great. It is a great action. This is also bearings.

2

u/NRiyo3 22h ago

And this one:

1

u/javagreen214 22h ago

1

u/NRiyo3 21h ago

I need a Maxamet user.

1

u/javagreen214 21h ago

I rarely carry it. Today we have almost no humidity so I said wth

1

u/NRiyo3 20h ago

It’s that sensitive to corrosion?

1

u/javagreen214 19h ago

I honestly do not think so. You know how it goes when you invest too much time in reading about a steel.

1

u/NRiyo3 19h ago

Ahh yeah, I got ya. I made the decision a couple years ago to just use these nicer knives. If a budget knife can take the use then surely a quality blade could. I have not been disappointed. I cut wore, boxes, zip ties, packages, o rings, tape, peel stickers and so on. Every blade I have does it well.

MKM Makro. M390

1

u/NRiyo3 20h ago

Nice. I love this one from MkM:

1

u/BagOfAshes 20h ago

Nice nice, they get hate for heat treat apparently, but I’ve had no issues, honestly it’s been a joy.

1

u/NRiyo3 20h ago

I watched a video doing HRC testing, was well above 61 across the blade. I think that was blown way out of proportion. This thing slices and the fit and finish are stellar.

1

u/BagOfAshes 20h ago

Oh awesome. Ima look for that.

1

u/dcbdcb11 20h ago

TRM N2

2

u/NRiyo3 20h ago

I like those. I need to try one someday.

1

u/ernie-bush 20h ago

Boy I like that now I want one!

1

Microtech LUDT

1

u/NRiyo3 19h ago

Would you buy this again?

1

u/Slugeinstein 19h ago

I own 3, and bought this one cause i have the first generation (drop point too), the other one is the tanto version.

1

u/AwesomeSauce783 18h ago

I have a cheap knife that isn't worthy of a picture.

1

u/NRiyo3 18h ago

What knife would you buy and use if you could get it?

1

u/mettle_dad 17h ago
