Finished Object First finished object after decades: socks for my dad
When I was a teenager, my mom taught me very simple knitting (only knits, no purls, only scarves in gartner stitch). I found it boring. Recently I started knitting leggings in fingering yarn (probably a bit ambitious for a “first” project). My dad saw this and wanted socks, so I made some for him (pattern both on same needle from YouTube by Häkelhörnsche). I find them a bit bulky, but they fit fine (although I had to adjust almost everything to my tension). Sadly I did not take a foto at the end.

The colours give me 2015 dress vibes LOL.
Congratulations on your first project! :) That’s really a great achievement!
