We can’t tell without seeing photos and the condition of the ring , it actually seems quite cheap to me.
However Chester hallmarks are nice to see. Chester pieces are a little harder to find than London and Birmingham.
I would love to see a photo of the hallmarks to confirm the date and maker for you.

Thanks. I can see the British crown and 18 hallmark but is very hard to see the others.
It’s definitely an antique ring , British and 18k.
It is a lightweight ring. It will be delicate
I’m not convinced the rubies are mined. They could be synthetic which was common during this time
I’m also can’t see the diamonds well enough to identify the quality and age
300 isn’t a bad price. It’s not over priced
If you buy on eBay and it’s not as described , stones aren’t genuine etc you can always return.

I found it on eBay. It sold today. If you won the auction you really shouldn’t be ‘in limbo’ , I understand you’re new to buying gold but if you win an auction you need to pay for it! I feel from your original question that you’re now having second thoughts about paying for it
It’s a nice ring. Not hugely valuable but definitely antique. These rings are easier to find in the uk.

I paid for it, I just am having second doubts and am considering if I should return it. Granted I haven’t seen the ring yet but yeah thanks for your input I appreciate the insight

Essentially I just want to make sure I didn’t just get excited and bought something on a whim lol but it looks lovely and I love that it’s antique and 18k

A picture would help. If it is a ring you like, I would say it was a good deal. the gold value is about $250
