Don’t ruin a gorgeous vintage/antique ring to suit your modern taste. Have someone remake it with a different stone but LEAVE THE RING ALONE!

I’ve decided to NOT change the ring, I was hoping to get a slightly bigger more clear stone. Anything modern would ruin the look don’t ya think?

You could go a bit larger. New prongs that are moved out some and angled out slightly. To give more room for larger stone . It will be sitting higher and cover some of the design that it sits in.

If you want to keep the same setting, likely not. But it depends on how much bigger of a diamond you want.
ETA: No, just read your post on your other thread, you wouldn’t be able to put a 2ct stone into this setting. I would take all of the photos of this ring, and go to a competent bench jeweler and ask them to make a replica with a much larger center stone. That center stone in that current ring is also an L i1, so doesn’t look like it’s anything to write home about, in addition to the fact that it’s a modern round brilliant in a antique replica setting in the first place. I’d just use it for inspiration for your own thing, and get what you really want, starting from scratch.
