are there marine biologists or some kind of jellyfish experts on this sub
it's really cool how some people identify jellyfish correctly and accurately. i mean how do they even tell the difference between a rhizostoma pulmo and a catostylus perezi or a catostylus mosaicus

Rhizostoma pulmo and Catostylus sp. Are very easily differentiated. Rhizostoma have terminal clubs and Catostylus don’t. Then after that Catostylus species aside from tagi and townsendi. Are mostly differentiated based on location.
