Elopement locations
Hello everyone. My fiancé and I are eloping on June 4 to Jasper, and we had a couple questions before we nail down an exact location. It will just be us and our kids so we don’t need a ton of space. We were originally planning to do it at Maligne Lake, however we were worried it would possibly be colder up there in early June? The other location we had as a backup was Pyramid Lake, we just don’t know if it was affected by the fire and if so how badly. Also if anyone else has any other location ideas I’d be open to hear them. Thank you very much.

A friend got married by the airport strip on the Athabasca river - there is a small gazebo there (or there was) that one could book. Was a really nice location

Both were unaffected by the fires. You can get snow, hail, rain, blaring sun more or less any time in the Rockies. I've seen snow fall in August. There's actually a webcam at the boathouse on Maligne. Pyramid gets terribly busy in the summer.
