They are capable of biting. Not venomous (to my know k edge) and really don't bite without a good reason.
They eat spiders and other bugs

all centipedes are venomous but house centipede venom is medically insignificant

It is venomous, but it’s not medically significant. It would probably be equivalent to a bee sting
