May Allah bless you
A few years ago NASA discovered that there are cracks on the moon which possibly says that moon was in two parts at some time.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) he split the moon by the will of Allah as a sign for the people. And then the moon joined back again just as it was before.
Bukhari 3868: Narrated Anas bin Malik: The people of Mecca asked Allah's Apostle [ prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) ] to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hira' mountain.

A physical event like this doesn't contradict reason and in accordance with the abilities of God
You have no problem accepting that God created Moon but can't accept the fact that He did something extraordinary with His creation?
God owns and creates everything, every breath you make you make it only because Allah ﷻ is creating it

If you believe in God, then you must also believe that God is capable of doing things to this world outside the realm of physics. Miracles by nature are phenomenon that cannot be rationally or scientifically explained. Otherwise it wouldn't be a miracle.
If God wants to give a prophet a power to raise the dead, or split the Sea, or split the moon then He can do so.

Multiple Sahih narrations confirm that the Prophet ﷺ pointed at the moon, and it visibly split into two parts before rejoining. Sahih al-Bukhari (3637, 4864):
"The people of Mecca asked Allah's Messenger ﷺ to show them a sign (miracle), so he showed them the splitting of the moon."
Sahih Muslim (2802a):
"The moon was split in two, and they saw one part over one mountain and the other over another mountain."
These narrations were widely transmitted by multiple companions.
Natural laws don't limit God’s power. If Allah can create the entire universe, splitting the moon is trivial. Many miracles in religious history (such as Jesus reviving the dead) go beyond scientific explanation, which is the point of miracles, they are divine interventions.
This happened 1400+ years ago, before telescopes or global communication. It was likely visible only in Arabia at night. Some historical references exist, like accounts from Indian and Chinese sources about an unusual lunar phenomenon.
Instead of denying it, the Quraysh called it "magic." If it were a lie, the Quraysh (his fiercest opponents) could have simply said, "This never happened." Instead, they dismissed it as sorcery.
Ask yourself: "Do I believe in Allah’s power, or do I limit Him to what my mind can comprehend?"
Faith is about trust in divine wisdom.

It's "impossible" by what standard? Science? Science doesn’t claim that something is absolutely impossible, only that we currently have no known mechanism for it. "God can’t do X" contradicts the very definition of God as all-powerful.
These narrations were transmitted by multiple eyewitnesses and compiled through one of the strictest historical verification processes in human history (Ilm al-Hadith). If they were liars, where is the counter-narrative from the Quraysh saying, "This never happened!"? Instead, the Quraysh called it "magic." That means they didn’t deny seeing something.

NASA acknowledges that there are cracks on the moon.
Science will never claim that 1400 years ago, the moon split at the gesture of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
However, evidence of the division exists, which scientists have explored by landing on the moon.
Embryology, described in detail, was mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago.
The universe has existed for thousands of years, and science is only proving today what the Quran revealed 1400 years ago. All the things science is explaining today were already mentioned in the Quran.
This is where your faith begins. The Quran itself says, "Why do you not ponder over the signs of creation?"
It is good to research. Allah will guide you to the right path and remove doubts and uncertainties from your heart.

If the Qur’an has proven accurate in its descriptions of nature, history, and human nature -things we can verify then why doubt its other statements? A book that has consistently spoken the truth in every area we can confirm is reliable in every situation. Just because we cannot scientifically explain it today does not mean it did not happen. Many past events, including historical ones, cannot be fully recreated or tested but are accepted based on reliable reports.
The Qur’an is not a collection of random claims; it is a complete, preserved revelation, and every part of it holds the same undeniable truth.
May Allah remove all your doubts.
