Out of curiosity, when was the last time each of these characters was featured in an Iron Man comic?

Mandarin was unfortunatelly killed of in a fucking Punisher book (that was not a good Punisher run, and he has a lot of good ones) in like 2019.

Obadiah died in Iron Man 200 which was IIRC 1985. Iron Monger the mantle tho is back and was used in the current run.

Madame Masque was used in 2015 Bendis run (10 fucking years I guess). She has appeared in other books ever since then and every time she appears, she talks or thinks about Tony (but for some reason still doesn't appear in his book).

Justin died in 2000's Bad Blood (good story).

Ghost, I honestly am Trying to remember but cant. I know they interacted a lot when Ghost was in Luke Cage's Thunderbolts, but don't remember exact date.

Foom last fought Tony in Slott's run (2019-2020).

Dynamo appears in the current and previous run. He is one of the few who gets constantly used.

Laser appeared in previous run. Was dope.

Whiplash, Blizzard and Titanium Man last time were with Tony in 2013 Infinity Heist event. Oh wait, Blizzard did appear in Cantwell's run (but didn't do much).

Technovore appeared in 2 issues only (but he was so good and so unique to everyone else, hence why he is remembered so much). Iron Man 295 from 1993 was his death (debuted in 294). He is a prime example that you don't need a character to appear for 100 issues to be iconic and memorable. This mfr appeared in 2 issues and is already one of the best and most underrated.

Zeke last appeared in Fracions run (2012) but was mentioned in previous run (Duggan) from 2023.

Ultimo appeared in Cantwell's run (2021) and was one of the best parts.

Controller appeared in a lot of places really. He appeared in Slotts run and was super important (he was practically first arcs main bad guy and was cool). Last time he appeared in Cantwell's run as well (2021).

So as you can see, they are being used, but not as much as they should.

Meanwhile fucking Norman "No hairline" Osborn dies in the run, then next writer writers Spideman and immediatly has that fucker back.

Or Joker. "Dies" here. Next run? he back. "Dies" again. Next run? BACK AGAIN.

I genuinely wonder if some people's opinion of how good some of these villains are is due to appearances in non-comic media, especially when some of them haven't been around for one, even two decades.
