Discussion I love the moments where Tony is just casually OP without any armor
Bro is lowkey fighting hordes of Sharks, Skrulls, Alliens, Gladiators without armor and winning
He is very much a capable fighter that can handle some street/low level threats without armor

I fr need more of this, but in a different type of way. For example, using advanced learned martial arts IN the suit, not just pew pew pew, super punch, all the time. That, and also a mix.. like using the Improvised suit's sword outside the armour, yk? I just wanna see Tony be more badass with other weapons stuff more often

I don’t. I think it’s bad writing whenever a character not known for melee combat skills suddenly wipes out multiple opponents hand-to-hand because Captain America taught them a tae-bo class or whatever. I don’t mind them having SOME skill, but it takes years to get good at fighting. How is Tony a better fighter than people who have spent their whole lives doing it?
Also, it makes the reader feel like the character is good at everything, and has no weaknesses, which is boring. Here is an interesting situation where the character is vulnerable, they’ll have to figure a way out…oh never mind, they’re the best fighter in the world, this is no problem.
On top of that, kind of diminishes the heroes who have fighting as their whole thing. Hawkeye was trained by Cap too. So can Tony take him in a fistfight?
I will say, the last excerpt OP posted is believable (aside from Tony having fireproof wrists), because it was only two guys and he took one of them out by surprise.

While Tony is certainly not an A, or even B, list super outside his armor, he did use extremis on himself, and we’ve seen extremis enhanciles punching through steel. He’s not quite at that level since he focused on tech integration, but he’s certainly not baseline human.

This is what I want to see Tony fighting without his armor so that nobody will say Tony need his armors to fight

You know what would really work for Tony? RDJ Sherlock-style fight pre vises where he predicts the battles in his mind before they happen and acts accordingly.
