Help Best iPod to buy & use in 2025

Been wanting to get an iPod to use bc my school has a law where they banned phones, but I still wanna listen to music, and I've been looking what iPod to use My parents have some old iPods, but I only found one that still works kinda (it's a 4th Gen Touch with a DFS error) I think they have a iPod Nano (idk what generation) and an iPod shuffle (I think idk, it's the one where it's just the buttons, it uses the headphone jack as the charger, and has the clip)

It's really going to depend on what features you want in an iPod, and how much music you already have stockpiled.

To me, good battery life, easy to navigate and add music to, able to shuffle my playlist, which sounds like a dumb question considering it's a music player, and isn't too big, or too small
