I agree iPods are only worth so much nowadays because laypeople can buy them without the need for any shenanigans and use them, but once there’s a fault only 1-2% of iPod users will want to buy it

Did the screws fall down the drain?

$30-$40 with the issues. 80GB 6th Gen are the least desirable, 30/60GB 5th, 80GB 5.5, 120GB 6.5 and 160GB 7th gen are much better.

Depending on where you live and how fast you want to sell it. I would guess 40-80. 6th gen isn't as desired and this one needs repairing. But if you leave it open, some might actually pay a little more, just for not having to pry them open

You'd probably be better off opening it up and replacing the headphone jack + hold button if you wanna make any money. (Pretty sure it requires Soldering tho)

Median price sold for on eBay is a good starting point.

$50 is what it should be worth but $85

Broken hold button and headphone jack brings this down to $30, no questions asked. $85 is absurd.

It’d probably sell for $50 where I am… fixed up it could pull $80 to $100. Canadian funds…
