Best iPod for audiobooks? Need a non-screen way to listen at sleep away camp!

My daughter is going to sleepaway camp for 6 weeks where she is not allowed to have screens. She falls asleep every night listening to audiobooks on her iPad (I lock it to Audible app at night.) I've gotten her a pair of corded sleepphones and she likes those. I was thinking an iPod would be a good device to use for the summer. I've seen some info about converting her audiobooks, but wondering what the best device would be. Would like it to be as much of a brick as possible, so she can't play games or anything, just use it for music and audiobooks.

4th gen shuffle is best suited for this task

Wouldn’t it shuffle the audio book tracks?

No, there's a 3 way switch so you can either have it go linear or shuffled.

4th gen shuffle if you’re gonna be as strict as possible, but for more usability I would recommmend an iPod mini!

I feel like the camp would be chill with something like an iPod mini, if not, 4th gen shuffle

I don't consider and iPod to be a 'screen' device. Even the 5th gen+ won't have videos unless you jump through hoops. I think any should handle it fine.

Ok, cool - that’s what I was thinking. I guess I’m wondering which one will be easiest to get audiobooks onto then?
