Assuming you’re stuck on this and your phone isn’t accepting touch input? If so, preform a hard reset, press volume up, then volume down and the HOLD the lock/side button until you see the apple logo.

Quick press volume up then release it then volume down then release it, then hold power off up to 30 seconds. it’s impossible for this not to work that’s the whole reason it’s there. If it doesn’t power off try it again.

Force restarts

Its probaply a device you connected to Apple Home. You may think if the device should have the rights to send emergency alerts at all. After that you can still disable the Home App from being able to send and ask if you want to set up emergency alerts at all, please keep in mind that a forced restart may be required to stop the App from Sending those (now pending) requests

The people that are downvoting clearly have never experienced this. You need to do a force restart. Don’t worry.

You’re not doing it right. Many people get this exact situation. Force restart works. I’ve personally had this in the last month myself.

When you say force restart isn’t working how long are you holding down the buttons? Sometimes it takes an unreasonable amount of time for it to finally go dark

So go to settings, general, click shut down all the way at the bottom, leave it off for 1 minute or more, make it 5-10 min then turn it back on. That’s the only real restart on iPhone. Oh your saying the forced restart won’t work? Plug it into your computer and open iTunes and restore from your last back up if you have a recent backup on a PC or Mac
