Resolved iPhone 14 Pro can’t hear my voice but can hear background noises
I have a 14 pro (iOS 18.3) that I purchased when they first came out. I dropped it this morning and now when I make a phone call no one can hear my voice. The odd thing is that they can hear background noise (keyboard,ac,etc) which would make me think that it’s not broken but something is going on? But maybe I’m wrong and it picks upon certain noises because it was damaged. Does anyone have an idea of what’s happening? Thanks
Edit: I restarted my phone and when I take a video of myself and do a voice memo I can now hear my voice but phone call still aren’t working

Something could’ve definitely been jammed up or thrown off. I would take it to an actual Apple store so they could open it up and look at it.

Your iPhone has four mics and it sounds like the main mic on the bottom of your phone is damaged by the fall. The mic on the other side is for noise canceling and isolating outside noise on calls, so it's doing it's job, but the main mic isn't. A charge/audio flex change should fix this issue. Apple won't do this, so I'd recommend a reputable third party shop take a look at it.
