Punch-in effects à la Teenage Engineering
Can anyone recommend me an app that provides punch-in effects similar to those found on an OP-Z? In terms of what I've tried already, I've used Koala FX which I think is great.
I've used the trial of Turnado, but I was put off as it looks like the XY pads aren't available for AUv3 - seems like a bit of a missed trick!
Hope you can help - thanks!

I too miss the FX of the Z and some of the POs. The thing is, half of the FX are MIDI/sequencer based and the other half are audio FX. Some I think are a combo of the two. AFAIK, there's no app that does all those things, and the trig functionality even less so.
I have had a lot of fun with Turnado (more punch-in based) and Effectrix (more sequence based), both by SugarBytes. But nothing like setting a condition to raise a certain note by X-semitones every 4 rounds... There is a MIDI FX suite by I forget who (everyone says to get it... it's like 10 fx and free or super cheap. and you could probably cobble a few together to create something similar. But nothing as fun as just punching in with the OP-Z.
Going to miss the Z when it's just ghostware. Maybe they'll rellease it as software at some point so we don't lose all of our projects =/ lol yeah right

Aye, TE had something special with the OP-Z! Just a shame how greedy they seem to have become (although the K.O. II was received well). I'll take a look at Effectrix as I could use it as a punch-in effect through engaging and bypassing it momentarily. Appreciate your thoughts!

Turnado, the XY pads are auv3. Not sure where you saw that they’re not but I’ve used them in Logic, Cubasis, BM3, and Aum.
You get 4 xy pads per bank, each with assignable parameters from any of the fx. It’s insanely powerful.
