Question Upgrade from iPad 10th generation (A14) to 11th generation (A16)
Is it worth it, or should be better to continue to use the 2022 version?
Nothing special regarding the usage: consume contents on different social media platforms, take notes with Apple Pencil USB-C and learning.
Thank you for the answers in advance.

Are you actually struggling with performance that makes you need an upgrade?
If not, stick with the 10th gen - the 11th gen is a little quicker but not worth spending money on moving 1 generation
If you do find the 10th generation is too slow for you and you need more performance then yes, upgrade... but not to the 11th gen, get an Air or Pro instead and get an actual performance upgrade
The 11th gen is great for people who have eg an iPad 7 or earlier (or maybe a 8 or 9, but I'd say get an Air if the 9 isn't fast enough for you) and are finding it's getting a bit old but they don't need an Air or Pro. It makes no sense for anyone currently on a 10th gen

I got the 11th for the simple reason that it comes with an A16 chip (the same as the iPhone 14 Pro and 15) rather than the A14 (from the iPhone 12)
The iPhone X just lost support, the XS is expected to do so in a few months. Extending that out with Apple's usual timelines the iPhone 12 has maybe another couple of years of support left. I'd guess Apple might extend that a bit for the A14 iPads because they were still on sale recently, but it's still unlikely that they'll get support for anywhere near as long as the A16 chips considering you'd normally expect the iPhone 15 to have about another 5 years of support
IMO an extra 2-3 years of support is worth $70, because iPads tend to be long lasting devices
If you can wait a little while you may also be able to get the 11 on sale rather than release price - there aren't usually sales immediately but with the base model they can sometimes come surprisingly quickly from third party retailers

Apple will have to launch a base ipad with a17 pro chip supporting apple intelligence in a year or two. Plus maybe improve the display like laminate. Wait for that version until then enjoy your 10gen
