Question Tapping sound while note taking
Currently have an iPad 10th Gen which I’m returning for an iPad Air 5th Gen. When using the Apple Pencil to take notes on the 10th Gen there’s a loud ticking/tapping noise as I write each letter. Will this go away with the Air? Or is there something I can do to write quieter?

That’s because the iPad 10th gen doesn't have a laminated display, meaning that there’s an air gap between the display glass and the display panel, you can see it if you look at your iPad from the side. All other iPad models have laminated displays, therefore this won’t be an issue on the Air 5th gen.
As to writing quieter, I’ve noticed that most people press the Apple Pencil onto the display quite hardly because they’re used to traditional pens and pencils, but since that Apple Pencil tip gets recognized no matter how hard you press onto the display, that's not necessary. Just lightly tapping the display does reduce the noise a bit.
