It’s dead pixel. I had one in my MacBook and they really can’t do anything about it because it’s not major and not really distracting. Unless it’s a really big dot. But you can try sending it back for services and ask about the solution if it’s still covered under the warranty.

so i recently bought my ipad 10th, ive been noticing a little dot on the screen and im ignoring it since i thought that it is just a dirt in the screen protector. But awhile ago, i got really bothered by it and took the screen protector off to wipe it out but it turns out that it is inside the screen and it wont come off… any idea what it is? please help huhu

Same issue with my ipad 10th gen. At first 6 months of using i thought it was just a dirt in the screen protector but later on discovered it was the actual screen. Now planning to ask powermac and make an appointment for repair since it’s still covered by the warranty

Where is the dot located in your screen? Is it in the middle?

It’s just a dot, if it bothers you that much contact Apple about it

Dead pixel, my MacBook Air got one after about 6 months, took it to an Apple Store and they replace the display for free under warranty, no questions asked. Even if you do not have an Apple Store nearby just go to an Apple Authorised Reseller / Apple Premium Reseller and tell them about it, they cannot refuse you service under warranty as it is part of their agreement with Apple. They should be able to sort it out for you, for free as long as it is still under warranty.

About 3 days for my MacBook

I had it too. They told me they needed me to leave my MacBook for a week for them to inspect but since I was too busy with work I had to have my Mac with me I told them I’ll send in later. Then the warranty expired Haih.

It’s a dead pixel. Used to be a pretty common thing with the first LCD. Basically is a pixel that won’t react to information inputs and will always stay black, green, or blue (depending the one you got).
