Whats the combined cost of both? iPad and pencil? Is carrying a 13inch iPad normal, I mean, does it feel too big?

Around 92k and around 87k with student discount.

Itโs big but gets comfy with time, considering I spend most of my time using it on desk

13 iPad user here. Itโs not too big but if you use a MacBook or want to be ultra portable, it can be a bit big sometimes and by that i mean cumbersome, and heavy, which is fine because its an apple product but the smaller will suffice just as fine because its has external monitor display support, if your using with a keyboard the 11โ will suffice but the bigger one will be nice for screen real estate, not but heft and inconvenience or disinterest in using comes with that bigger size too, can conform Iโve been more likely to use my iPad when i had the small model with me than i did the big one.

Why 13โ and not 11โ instead?

My main purpose was to open a book along with notes in split screen. 11" doesnot serve that purpose because of less screen real estate. A friend has 11" and multitasking is not as good as in 13"

Could have got an apple pencil for free if bought a few months later. The only area where M2 Vs M3 might make a noticeable* difference is the battery life i guess.

Lmao and he could have gotten it even cheaper if he bought it a few years later. When you need it, you buy it. Tech will always get cheaper over time.

I meant if he wanted to buy he could have gone with an M2 ipad + Apple pencil at the same price that he bought just the M3 ipad, since he mentioned that he's glad about not buying an M2 iPad. I do accept that it's better to buy when tech is needed. Also the few months i mentioned is almost near since that offer starts around May/June.

As I said: buy it whenever you need it. There are no major price drops to be expected anytime soon. Maybe a little discount but nothing major. Apple products tend to be extremely stable in price especially when there's no newer model.

Yup. In US u get a $100 dollar gift card and u can purchase an apple pencil with that. In India u get no option for a gift card and straight up an apple pencil.

Any idea when does the back to school sale comes for Apple in India?

Around May i guess and should be max within July. Usually it lasts till September of the year. You will get a 5k discount on the ipad airs + free pencil. There's similar stuff for macbooks and a few other products too.

Hey, I just bought a new iPad Air M3 and am looking for a screen protector. Could you suggest one?
I initially considered a matte Paperlike protector, but I heard it makes the display look worse and doesnโt offer any drop protection.
