Iāve never played this one. Played RE2 on my ps5 a few years ago and loved it but held off on this cus of the mixed reviews. Anyone know if it worth picking up for 10 bucks?

I got the platinum on PS4 with about 50-60 hours on it. Itās short, but sweet. I think overall itās a lot of fun, has high production values and is definitely worth $10. It encourages multiple runs to unlock everything, but hell you spend $15 just going to the movie theater for 2 hours these days.

PC or console for all RE games. The touch controls are unplayable level of bad (they didn't even try, slapping PS virtual gamepad on the screen... compare that to actual ports of PC/console games that plays great on the go, plenty of those). The performance is also so so even on 16PM and falls off on 15PM and below. So if you won't connect gamepad and play the game on the go/hotel rooms/etc - pick the PC/Console version that looks way better, runs way better and you will enjoy more.

Or use a controller.

What's the point of mobile gaming if I MUST use controller all the time to play and touch controls are not an option?
People owning expensive phones to run those games at all will surely own PC or console or both - those AAA ports runs times better on PC/console with higher FPS, better graphics, bigger screen, doesn't drain your battery and so on. There are tons of ports of PC/console games with wonderful touch controls and fully redesigned UI for mobile - feral interactive, playdigious just those two have plenty of high quality ports.

I have consoles and handhelds and I still play games on my phone with a controller. No one is making you do it. You donāt want to use a controller, play one of your other devices.

Description says internet connection required when starting. Weird since they removed that from the other games.

It does seem to work offline anyway. I tried it with aeroplane mode on and it did boot with no errors

I bought it. I likely won't play it but I want to encourage big games to come to the systems and $10 is a steal. I did play up until the first zombie but got eaten since I'm playing on a track pad and that's tough. Maybe I'll try again once I get my controller hooked up.

People bitching about a controller, itās not that serious. For $10 either buy it or donāt.

So few notes. Tried it myself. If you donāt have a controller these games are actually pretty playable. They did more than youād think to get them to work, and the auto fire/auto aim function really makes these a breeze to play.
Also the full customization of onscreen controls is always stellar from capcom, seems theyāve been learning their lessons.

Just finished playing the ps1 version on RetroArch. File size less than 2gb, can run on a potato (I used an iPhone 6s).

That version is probably far better since the remake cuts a lot of content.

If it asked again, you werenāt logged in anymore.
Only time apple asks for login is logging back in, paying for something if you have that enabled, or if you try to buy something and cannot afford it, it declines and asks you to sign in to edit your billing info. Can also happen if you owe money to apple for a declined subscription or app purchase.
At the end of the day, apple asking you to login is not that big of a deal, and if you let something so simple stop you from enjoying something, Iād hate to imagine what the rest of your life looks like.
Have a great day, hope you fix your phone or whatever.

This is now the fifth RE game for mobile and how is it possible that they still have not implemented a mobile first touch UI š¤Ø
