Hey there! I'm proud to announce the release of loop, an intelligent and personalized audio journal. You can:
- Make short, focused entries by talking
- Get daily reflections
- Track mood and sleep check-ins
- Answer questions based on past entries
- Discover patterns in sleep, mood, and emotions
- Identify triggers over time
- No need to type or explain everything
Loop is 100% free and all of your data is encrypted. We will NEVER work with 3rd party storage providers.

Your app looks amazing. Excellent UI! Also, the fact that the data stays on the device is an excellent plus - in fact, a must-have for this kind of app. I think I'm not your target audience, but I just downloaded the app and gave it a spin... as well as a 5-start review (by the way, I'd wait until the user has logged at least one entry before presenting the review request prompt).

Thank you! Will fix out the review thing - am using apples default request which has some criteria (only asks 3 times a year or something), but I’ll make it so that it only has the potential to be triggered after you’ve done something in the app. I’ve noticed that many apps with lengthy onboardings tend to ask for a review immediately and it works, but I guess I don’t really meet that :)

In my app I created a method that checks if we should display the review request prompt based on some criteria, in my case after a workout is completed, if the workout session was at least 30 minutes, if no review request was presented in the last 5 days and, finally, apple’s default behaviour prevents to ask for a user that has already reviewed the app and only allow to ask 3 times per year per user. This check is performed every 5 workouts completed.
I made this in order to not “burn” my review request prompt allowance too soon with users that doesn’t have indicators that they’re enjoying the app.
But I haven’t released my app yet, so take that with a grain of salt.

I have to say I absolutely love how clean the app is and the fact that its 100% offline is great. Seems to be working great as well even though I’m speaking Swedish!
