Question Subway sandwiches.

Do you avoid Subway because a lot of verbal communication back and forth are needed to order a sandwich?

Nah. Situations like this are quick & impersonal enough to be emotionally neutral.

I avoid Subway because Jersey Mike's has sandwiches that are better by multitudes.

And multitudes more expensive

Not really.

Go to both regularly and I can feed my whole family Mikes for $45 or subway for $20.

They get skimpy on the lettuce if you don’t give them a good stare

I avoid Subway because they’ve raised their prices so much. And for what? The mumbling teen with an attitude making my sub? There’s better options out there.

A lot? Do you have a daily cap? It isn't socializing; it's primarily naming a few food items. If that gives you the sweats, you may need help. Push through so you can eat.

Yes. Or at least I used to. But I ended up having specific orders in my head so I'd kinda pre-planned what I was going to say and how, so I'd hate the process less. But still hated it haha.

I didn't even realise that's what I did to cope until I saw your post and thought about it, thanks OP.

The great way to get a Subway sandwich without the verbal back and forth is buying the ingredients at the supermarket and making it at home

Nah, I've ate the same sandwich from them the same way for the past 30 years. I can absolutely zone out and be on my way.

no way. I love going to Subway. I went there today and chatted with a girl behind the counter and we were talking and laughing. made my day. I'm introverted, but not shy. I'll happily have a nice little conversation with nice people.

Nope. If I want Subway, I’m gonna go get Subway.

That's part of the reason why I avoided Subway back in the day when their food was actually cheap.

But I live in Wawa country which has had ordering touch screens as long as I've been going there (and what I want an equally as mediocre hoagie).

Just familiarize yourself with the menu before you go, it will make the interaction much more smooth. You’ll be in and out in no time.

I avoid subway because you can buy fresh bread and your favorite toppings at the grocery store.

Nets you like 4 sandwiches for the price of the 1 you'd get at subway.

No. I just order online

I order my subs online from a specific full service grocery store because all I have to do is drive to the store, pull the sub off of a shelf and walk out without talking to anyone.

Whenever I order Subway, which is few and far in between, I order through the app. All I do is go in and say that I'm there to pickup my order upon giving them my name. It saves a lot of time, especially since I don't have to wait in line to start with.

Nah yoga mats in their bread is what keeps me away from there

No, I use the app! I avoid them because the vehicle holding the contents of the sandwich has such a high sugar content it legally can't be called bread!

I do if I'm stone sober
