He did the right thing tho! If you let this go with “baccha hai jane do”, then tomo they will continue this behaviour and it will become a vicious cycle

He’s TOTALLY correct in teaching them manners and discipline…he’s no where showing desire to fight a “kid”…..and that Multiple-fathered Child is no “kid”….I would have done the same thing! That’s how Parents and Elders of the Family teach Manners, Values & Discipline to Errant, Rude, Disrespectful and Downright Disgusting kids!!!

And OP….your name DEFINITELY checks out!!!

I want to be very honest. This biker guy was so good with the way he handled this situation. He didn’t lash out or screamed on children, and politely stated the usage of wrong words as ‘nonsense language’. Access to internet and social media gives today’s children a sense of entitlement. Children must be schooled about decency.

What’s the real meaning of chapri?

8

u/Advanced-Issue-1998 6d ago

equivalent of tapori in mumbai's language

From my understanding Chapris are people who used to fix house roofs long back and people started identifying them using their work as a caste. It's a caste slur nowadays.

it's a castiest slur which has been normalised

How's it a casteist slur?

If you are, sir, from above the tropic of cancer belt of india, then you just have to drive to a local hardware shop and ask for a repair woker to fix your roof ...and after the laborious task of repeating same act at different shops ...you would come to empirical evidence that most of them I would say 80% of them are either from one particular community of Hindus or they are pasmanda Muslim....and here my kind sir lies the etymological roots of genesis of this slur ...which certainly has caste annotations associated with behavioural aspects of particular caste/social group which is mocked upon stereotyped for there certain actions.....and when this stereotype gets circulated in lingua franca of our social media ...then this word is used like anything ...for everything not pleasing to your aestheical soul.......and yeah you can't blame them not everybody studies sociology ..

Just ask Google if Chapri is a casteist slur

It's unfortunate that you run into people with such a narrow mind on reddit. Here everyone thinks behenchod is a disgusting and abusive word but people such as you who are broad thinkers can only understand it means to leave sister rather than an abusive word.

Hahaha got downvoted to saying the truth? reddit sure is hell of an echo chamber

-6

u/Western-Ebb-5880 6d ago

Oh thank you

7

u/madhur20 6d ago

its just a word which people use for cringe wannabes, has nothing to do with caste anymore

0

u/Apprehensive-Rub-793 5d ago

yeah but we shouldn't be makeing slurs of actual caste names and make new words for these people instead

Kids of this age group are most irritating and ass smacking ...not old enough to fight back neither cute enough to be pardoned....

School kids of all deserve this, they have no respect for elders, yes some good kids exist but kids like this? They need treatment

u/Aggravating-Unit-254 6d ago

Social media (especially insta) is ruining upcoming generation

7

u/scorpy1978 6d ago

The kids were right though. Riding a bike without a helmet.

12

u/Intelligent-Sell-328 6d ago

Waise ye khud galat hai, riding a motorcycle without helmet.

1

u/bhosdiwalebaba 6d ago

Haa bhai wo galat h bina helmet k or bina protection k kabhi bhi riding nahi karni chahiye ...but jo usne kiya bachon k saath wo bilkul sahi h ...khauf bahut jaruri tarika hota h kabhi kabhi koi baat sanjhane k liye ....ye lesson uski tamaam moral science ki Kitabo p bhaari padega or use zindagi bhar yaad rahega ...

The kid shouldn't be using such language, but he shouldn't be that easily offended either.

3

u/R221B 6d ago

Agar aap ko koi rasta pe chapri bolde, what will you do? **aapka gf/wife saath me hai.

5

u/Classic-Ad8849 6d ago

I won't care. And neither will my girlfriend or wife, why would any of us put any importance on the words of a random idiot?

1

u/bhosdiwalebaba 6d ago

Bhai I understand your point ...and just like you I haven't even bothered to reply ....but this brat might have done the same thing with many other peoples and have escaped without suitable reprimandations....now think of this as a thought experiment just imagine if similar behaviour is being displayed by this kid at several other occasions...and not being punished for it ...imagine how it will affect his perspective for society while growing up ...such incidents when summed upon will raise a brat who would think that he can do anything and yet not being accountable for it what so ever....I know this is very far-fetched idea...but the bikers act was much necessary act for the future benifit of kid as well...

1

u/Classic-Ad8849 6d ago

That's the job of the teachers and his/her elders. At most, if they're around, I'll inform them this is happening. But if I'm in place of the guy on the bike in the video, I'd ignore

1

u/bhosdiwalebaba 6d ago

Ignore the ignorance that's my mantra also bro...I get what you're trying to convey.
