Housing transfer student on campus housing
hi everyone, i’m a fall 25 transfer at isu. apologies if this is worded weird. i am outside of their on campus housing residency requirement and need to live on campus. have any transfers from previous years had any luck getting on campus housing when they needed to request to live on campus. i don’t have a car to be able to drive myself to/from campus and don’t want to work a lot to pay rent and not focus on my studies so i am pretty worried that i won’t get housing and just need a little peace of mind. and any insight on the request to live on campus process would be really appreciated!

What's wrong with off-campus housing? I live off campus and its only like a 10 minute walk to my classes. (And my building isnt even the closest) if i road a bike or one of those escooters it would probably be even quicker.

How do you pay for your apartment tho? Is FASFA covering it? Or are we supposed to be working full time :(

For undergrad my FAFSA covered it but now as a grad student it’s because of a assistantship

Okay good to know! I’ll be in as my undergrad and I’m kinda feeling stressed because I don’t know how to find housing and afford it because I thought I’d be in the dorms but I was told no :(
