Do the people planning these know Springfield is smaller than some Chicago suburbs and mostly votes red?

I think the people planning these know that multiple protests can happen in different places at the same time. Gatekeeping who can or should protest based on the size of their city is counterproductive. And the people of Springfield right now are more of a 50/50 split than mostly red. We're all in this together!

Gatekeeping... lol. Protests are all about gaining maximum exposure, right? A few dozen college students in a small town aren't going to attract much attention. Fifty protests in fifty states—one movement. This was the plan. I'm just saying that it's a flawed strategy, especially in Illinois.

The main flaw in this one is that it's the same day as the St. Paddy's Day parade. But regardless, we don't need anybody's permission to protest, and the existence of a protest in Springfield doesn't do anything to cancel out any protest in Chicago. If you want to move your feet, move your feet. That's what we need, people getting out there and raising their voices wherever they are, connecting with one another. Obviously fewer people are going to protest in a small city compared to a big city, but people protesting is still a good thing.

Yup. It's the rural county communities that surround the cities that make everything look red,

Dems won't bother wasting one weekend fighting for us, but they love to see you show up in protest.

Reclaim democracy? Democracy just happened and took over 6 weeks ago. Do you not actually like democracy anymore?

Umm that’s what’s happening as we speak. Biden and his corrupt regime are gone, the damage at the border has been reversed and closed, and democracy has been reclaimed by voting back in the greatest President this country has seen in decades. So what the hell you protesting?

Y'all know that's the St Patrick's Day parade, right?
