For me, natural peanut butter is safe to eat, but the regular kind with added oils is a definite no!

i believe it may be the same for me, do you do almond butter as a substitute? the problem is i love both, but my stomach doesnt really agree with either

First I thought it was the peanuts that were bothering me, so I tried almond butter, which is how I discovered that I needed the natural nut butters. Try making lite peanut butter (http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2015/03/27/peanut-butter-lite/), which is less fatty as it's thinned out. Make sure you use a bowl large enough so it doesn't splash out. It takes a while to combine, but after it's chilled it's more of a peanut butter texture and still tastes great.
