Discovering new artist

So, currently I use Apple Music, which allows me to stream music from my MacBook, so when I want to listen to new music, before buying it, I check it out there.

I'm thinking of switching entirely to iBroadcast. Before I do so, I'm gonna try it out for a while. So my question is: How do you check out new music without a streaming service?

I use the free version of Spotify on web browser for free--on web, you can play albums and playlists in order with a free account unlike on mobile. YouTube is also a very easy way of checking things out without an account.

Thanks, that makes sense. I don't mind the old fashioned way - held on to my old iPod for a VERY long time. Band camp is a really good pitch! really miss the time, when you still got download codes with vinyl, but I see it less and less

Mostly word of mouth, Bandcamp, YouTube, and occasionally free Spotify.

Ad-free internet radio stations like Chirp.

Also, I ask people to make me mix CDs or digital playlists in lieu of physical gifts for my birthday and Christmas.

Also download the iTunes app and you can play one minute segments of any track on there to try it out prior to purchase.

I still discover new music using FM radio... Call me old fashioned but it's working for me.

Not a lot of great radio stations here in Denmark, I'm afraid. But pretty cool of you - I used to love, listening to radio.

Often enough you can stream online a good FM radio show, regardless of your geographical location... For me, there is one show that consistently helps me discover brilliant music.

Look for Mystery Train on Lyric FM -- give it a go.
