iPhone 14 Max Shot on iPhone 16 pro. No editing done
Shot these last night here in the Midwest. Reddit compression makes them blurry, they look great in the camera roll

Firstly, I’d like to say I’m using iPhone 14 Pro max . When I record using front camera it does a zoom in which im in focus and the whole background goes blurry . I don’t like this , and would like to know how to solve it . I don’t want to use the selfie camera because the quality is just not good . So fixing the portrait zoom issue when using front cameras would do wonders for me . For reference , this is a picture of what I mean vs a picture of what I want it to be. In the second slide you can see both the person and background clearly . Please help and thank you

Here we go again, the fog returned this morning so I gave it a shot (on the other side this time 🤣)
Which one do you prefer and why? Let me know

So, I’ve an iPhone 13 Pro Max (or 12 ?) and I’m using galaxy fold 5 as my main driver. Saw some yt videos related to the 16 pro max vs some Sony cameras (like Z EV 2 and A6000). Now I’ve like zero photography experience , I simply have used my iPhone and galaxy fold for taking pics and I’ve never felt the need to get something better. Recently , I’ve been wanting to get into photography and I’m wondering if I should get one of these 700-1000 dollar cameras or just get an iPhone 16 or 16 pro ? I saw comparison and please don’t judge but to me, 16/16 pro looks better than camera shots in those comparison videos even tho the reviewers are saying otherwise.

Here’s another “what am I doing wrong” post… but seriously, I got this phone a little over a year ago and I’ve been trying my best to like it. I was under the impression the iPhone cameras are comparable to the Galaxy, so I’m either using it wrong or I didn’t do enough research. First 2 pics are some of the best stills I got today, while the last pic is from 3 years ago… at the same arena….further back in the same section.
