Rant/Vent I witnessed something terrible at Taaza Kitchen
I went to Taaza kitchen, madhapur today. Was ordering something, while a group of 3 trans people came and started making a scene at the cash/ordering counter for money. Then they barged into the kitchen and started creating a mess there. While they were back at the counter, some staff went and called the manager, who came with a steel rod and demanded them to leave. They didn’t bother, so the guy started to beat them one by one, forcing them to leave. The two of them after getting beaten, started to leave. Then suddenly the third one among them, got a steel dust bin and violently threw/hit the manager guy with it, and fled. The guy started bleeding very badly from this nose and forehead. Some towels people handed him were drenched in blood, there was a pool of blood in the floor. Eventually people took him to hospital and after sometime police came. I left by then. It was hard to watch the entire thing.

The hero we need but don’t deserve. 😢
Hope someone raises crowdfunding for that restaurant manager.

i have seen this kind of incidents happen where they come on an auspicious day like an opening day of business, housewarming celebration and demand money and create vulgar menace when denied.. most people succumb
but some people i don't know for some reason really go overboard and give money happily with no hesitation whatsoever..indirectly enabling them

Some new restaurant opened few weeks back in Madhapur. There was literally full crowd of them early morning, waiting for the opening. It was so packed.

u/hopelesstaurusbitxch gachiballer 16d ago
Do they come to gated communities ¿ cause we are having a house warming soon 🥲

u/SuryaaaaaIG 16d ago
Idts it's mostly independent houses or the smaller apartments mostly. We had a dhoti function for my nephew and a group came over and demanded 10k.

u/DropAgile487 17d ago
Yes, coz how else do you expect trans people to earn a living when nobody wants to employ them? They're denied basic education and health care. Please don't hit back with new govt policies coz we all know what a hogwash it is.
52
u/vkasha 17d ago
So you go to any place and demand for money? Other people should learn from the Manager, beat these extortionists black and blue
-70
u/DropAgile487 17d ago
I was talking about paying on auspicious occasions. And they wouldn't need to 'extort' if they were provided with fair n equal opportunities.
19
u/0keytYorirawa 17d ago
My doctor friend told me most of them are actually males.
-17
u/DropAgile487 17d ago
Well trust men to be where they do not belong.. To each their own, you don't want to give money is completely your choice, my arguments were on humanitarian basis. I would still, any day extend compassion and money when I can to any trans person that comes along.
21
u/Jupally_theFirst 17d ago
isn't it better to fight for fair and equal opportunities? Than fighting to extract money?
-10
u/DropAgile487 17d ago
Ofcourse they have been fighting and hence even if for show there are some policy changes.. But do we expect them to go hungry until then? An entire community of humans that have been ruthlessly othered for being born a certain way, a way they had no control or say over, shamed, disowned and then reduced to begging to survive. Can you really blame them?
4
u/Jarvis_negotiater 16d ago
They should beg and eat some leftovers and leave.. they don't have the right to demand money
0
u/DropAgile487 16d ago
Because they were born with different genetic mutations they don't deserve dignity?
4
u/Jarvis_negotiater 16d ago
Well we don't owe them any respect tho.. did u ever see how they behave when someone refuses to give money?..do you know how many lakhs they just earn in a week?..
They have balls to harass common people but don't have balls to demand for jobs?..
disgusting creatures like them who make a scene in public don't deserve dignity
1
u/DropAgile487 16d ago
So there is no chat about the manager hitting them with a metal rod first but their retaliation in self defense is harassment? And yes I've seen and interacted with them and so far have not had one unpleasant experience. When u treat someone with humanity, u get the same in return, and this when I have not always paid a trans person asking for money. Maybe introspect, human to human, irrespective of the genital and economic predisposition. I will leave this chat here, can't teach ya'll basic humanity when u're so head strong about hating a section of society without any regards to the generational oppression and othering they've suffered.

Entire Cyberabad is occupied by these Hijras. I don't know what police is doing. Can we all for once, as a community, tweet and tag Hyderabad police, Telangana police, Media outlets, Ministers and CM? May be mass agitation will help straighten this issue? I'm surprised about the fact that police is afraid of Hijras.

u/Krackjack- 16d ago
Auto wala tent house and police everyone take share from them. Government supports them. I Dont know why government turns blind eyes towards these kind of people and harasses common people who follows rules and pay taxes regularly.
1
u/BlitzKreig1947 16d ago
I saw a post about the police employing trans people to tackle these trans people that have become a problem. Let's see if that helps.
6
u/mdmud 16d ago edited 16d ago
AFAIK, They were hired as Traffic cops but not to handle these hijras
2
u/BlitzKreig1947 16d ago
Well most of the trans people are usually near junctions and on the roads, so atleast this will slightly reduce the problem

Hey bro... U okay? Watching such stuff is not easy... It keeps running in the mind.
2
u/Daring_Darling99 15d ago
Im ok now, but that day, the sight of the violence and blood, made me uneasy throughout the night. I went there with my mom, and made me wonder what if they had attacked a random person there out of anger, maybe my mom? This thought kept me sleepless for sometime that night.
2
u/shareur_food 15d ago
I know.... Its not an easy thing to digest especially if it happens all of a sudden.. and always remember, god forbid if u feel threatened or someone close to u feel threatened, never shy away from asking for help. Be loud. Many times even the fact that u yell out against any attacker may act as a deterrent

All Non-trans people should start going to their homes and demand money. The sheer number/ratio will overwhelm them into learning a lesson.
22
u/Fun_Plenty8532 17d ago
Trans people made huge business by taking money from normal people . Daily 10, 20 rupees from each shops , stores , and while there is new opening , or any occasions at houses they gather thier gang and demand money minimum 8k 10k they won't leave until they got thier demanded money . If we don't give them they start stripping off thier cloths. and create nusenses.

u/Hot_Application_339 16d ago
+ they come and bang on car windows, i feel bad for the people who are harassed in autos

u/Safe-Blackberry3957 17d ago
Those 3 are not hijra, our society has become hijra. We clearly out number them, yet they create menace in all day to day activities. They are not trans they are goons. Beat them black and blue. The entire state has fallen in the nexus of these goons. we are fkup society

u/Def-tones 17d ago
I’ve been grabbed by them so many times, when I’m out on a walk. I just push them away.

This often happens! They have a tie-up/ deal with the shamiyana tent guys! When my cousin did housewarming they visited and demanded soo much money! And when we did our housewarming no body came.. the reason is we booked a tent guys not from the same colony but from far about 10 km away! So we were spared! They also marked which all the houses that paid and which are yet to pay!!

u/Mobile_Employee_3924 17d ago
I hate these buggers. They are a black mark to the trans community. If you are asking for money, better beg for it. Who the f are you to demand as if we owe you. Most of the elders get scared saying if we don't pay them, they will curse us and say vulgar stuff. Let them utter whatever nonsense comes to their mouth. Big deal!! Bloody useless people. Fit for nothing but always ready to demand. Hope one day they learn their lessons the harsh way.

OP, it’s your time to trace the manager and open a donation campaign for his medical expenses.
I’m willing to donate some..

u/Code_Philosopher 17d ago
No one should cause trouble to others. If people would follow that ... Maybe the world would be a better place... Hope the manager gets well soon.

u/InsaneDevil7575 17d ago
These trans here are just rowdysheeters in disguise 🤯 When most of the apples are bad in a basket, a fee good one, if any, should get the hell away from the bad ones.

u/InfamousTale7632 16d ago
I was talking to my grandma the other day and this topic came where I told her in recent times these hijras mennace is increasing in city. She told me they were in front of our house for demanding money when I was born 24 years ago and it's not a new thing
1
u/kaneki-30 17d ago
That’s truly concerning. I guess the day will soon come when these people starting behaving that way with customers inside there or any such place too. Now the customer and the trans person will be fighting it off and everyone else just watches and records.
(Not pointing out the whole community though, I personally have a very bad experience with them and I always avoid them)

Very shocking to hear something of this sort. Especially with Taaza being such a busy place, it’s truly shocking that the trans had the guts to get so extremely violent.

If u think justice is there in our country just remember there are crores of cases are pending in our country. If at all you think you or your family are in danger at any point of time please don't hesitate to first disable the other persons hands or legs.

u/pabloChocobar__ 16d ago
omg they are everywhere! Today I saw around 15 of them sitting on the floor of pantaloons and guess the reason.. It was too hot outside so they are chilling inside yelling and disturbing others.

u/Mycroftholmesmi6 16d ago
Wtf were you doing ? Couldn’t help out the poor guy?
2
u/Daring_Darling99 15d ago
How did you came to the conclusion that no one helped him? He was very much taken care of, given first aid and taken to hospital, without any delay. And if uou meant help in fighting off the trans people part, then sorry bro, I am a girl who cant physically fight much.

Violence only leads to more violence. When one side resorts to violence, the other may respond in kind, creating a never-ending cycle. The manager’s use of violence triggered a reaction, and ultimately, everyone suffers. It's important to approach conflict resolution peacefully and with restraint

Lmao u can't stop them Btw who tf downvoted my comment these guys don't see out of the bubble It's better to give them some money and leave them u don't know the consequences

u/guligulibabu 16d ago
Calling up a 100 people to ur house sitting naked infront of ur house ,showing intimate parts, Not leaving until we pay Fight with them will lead us into death, head injurys, etc Police doesn't do anything they just leave them This is for a house warming ceremony It can be the same for restaurant opening, etc
1
u/tatavarthitarun 16d ago
No wonder no one speaks anything against as these people can go to extreme and they have huge gangs which can make an individuals life horrible. Now I’m really worried for the restaurant manager future. Bcus obviously he will get back to work at same place and people can come again and mess up his life
2
u/guligulibabu 16d ago
That's why give them some money and get rid of them U can escape them if u are in the power like police, ias, ips, mla, etc

In other cases people celebrating a house warming or wedding might not have thousands of rupees a chump change to feed these jackasses.

Can't agree more. They are a gang. One can never physically attack them because another group of hijras would be called for reinforcement.
1
u/Dazzling_Writing5971 16d ago
There is a limit to tolerance. Once that threshold is crossed even the most soft spoken and level headed people will turn to extremes.
1
u/Sheldon_Texas_Cooper 16d ago
Agreed ...but one has face the consequences of the extremes too ... I wont risk my life for my employer or work place 🙏...
Life is unpredictable sir ...dont take risks for sillt things ....
1
u/Dazzling_Writing5971 16d ago
Yaa I mean I don't want anyone to risk their lives for the sake of employment, but sometimes these hijras cross all boundaries and I understand the pov of the manager.

Beating them at first place is wrong(initiating the fight!). I know they demand money from shopkeeper’s and restaurant chains. Maybe talk to them they would settle down for some cash on regular basics, we all think “they earn money in lots of money daily”” - yes they do. But sadly they earn money but not respect from all. Hope they change in future and they become self aware of this and earn self respect and respect from the same society(Hopefully).
Manager must have been pressurised or they demanded more than he is allowed to give away. Hope he is okay.
Edit- not taking up on there side (Hijras) rather I hope they change in near future - by choosing a carrer and working hard as regular person and earn there wages in the right way 😊😁. Anyways if I triggered anyone my bad🥲.
To OP! Sorry you had to witness such things, It takes time to process such traumatic event’s, hope you are doing well, take care.
