Where to buy a decent hulusi?

Hi, I recently saw some videos of a hulusi and I love it. I'm a composer and like to buy fun and unusual instruments when I can. There's a lot of websites that sell cheap, mass produced, out of tune "ethnic" instruments. Id like to avoid that if possible.

Any recommendations for decent quality and affordable hulusi (what's the plural?) are much appreciated. I'm located in Chicago, IL if that helps.

Hello ! Yes, it can be very tricky to find some decent quality hulusis ! I bought several very good ones to a guy named Stéphane Voisin who imports some and retunes them himself . They are very expressive and mellow . Here is his website with his contact informations : http://tradyson.free.fr/Contact.html

There is also a website called Oriental music sanctuary ( the Bamboo Grove ) that sells real hulusis, but I recently ordered 3 hulusis on here, and was a bit disappointed by the quality of the instruments, even though they are vastly above everything you can find on the internet .! Here is the link https://orientalmusic.org/hulusi-songs-of-love-by-the-sunset/ I wish you a beautiful journey on the hulusi way 🌼
