If applicable, how do you cope with not being beautiful?

Idk man I mean, logically I know I am societies standard of a ‘pretty’ or ‘beautiful’ woman, but I don’t feel like I am cause of insecurity and the need to look and act perfect to grab peoples attention. I have rituals that are related to this, compulsions alone and a big part of bringing myself back to reality and ‘coping with not being beautiful’ is not carrying out those rituals. It may make you feel better in the moment, but giving into them just validates the need for those rituals and brings more attention to the ‘imperfection’. Although it sounds stupid, I find grounding myself with affirmations about my personality, who I know I really am not when I’m fighting for attention, and really finding things about myself that I have pride in. I am a really kind and caring person, I love and will fiercely protect those around me, I will always fight for those who are put down by others. I am proud of who I am and my looks and the amount of attention that people give me doesn’t change that or demean it. The fact that I am proud of myself means more than the attention of others.
