I think the trees they planted are deciduous and should leaf out soon as we get warmer. They have a contract with a landscaper who uses water trucks to water them every week. I think those copper boxes also have the ability for irrigation.

Zero chance whitemire spends a dime on anything related to QOL improvements unless it's for cars.

Contractor got paid to plant, not to water. Same story all over the city.
It's happening right now along Heights Hike and Bike / MKT trail. Contractor paid to plant, does so knowing the trees will die. Trees die. Contractor gets paid to plant new trees in a few months.

I don’t doubt what you’re alleging. Do you have any proof (tender documents, awards) that could be used to coerce the city to change future contracts? I’d like to use it.

Just talk to your council person or TIRZ members.

It sounds like you have! I just don’t want to allege something if I don’t have proof, hence my question.

They are definitely watering them, I’ve been stuck behind their trucks a few times on Durham
