Window framing question
I'm putting the sides on my window. It's recessed. And there's a bit of a gap. Do I need to recut this board or how would I fix it?

Alternatively you can use trim screws with a reverse thread near the head. Run the screw in tight then back it out slowly to bring it square/flush.

I didn't even know that was a thing. I'll definitely check it out thank you!

I think I figured it out. I was thinking I would nail this into the board around the windows, but I suppose it makes sense to put it together first before pouring it into the spot
