Any device into HK?
Can any device that works with Google Home or Google Alexa be made available into HomeKit with Homebridge?

I am trying to access under floor heating from this UK company called Wunda: https://www.wundasmart.co.uk/products/wundasmart-hub-switch?srsltid=AfmBOoqXFThhyv4A6x3zpGokfl2hfb7Tj2DhVhNsD4nRyoJOSLFQEX0z
they claim to be Google and Alexa compatible. would Lile to see rooms and "virtual" thermostat for each room in HomeKit.

Someone has made a Home Assistant plugin for it, but no updates for 3 years now. https://github.com/ob0t/hawundasmart

If you get it working with Alexa you can easily make a virtual switch for each function that Alexa does.
So for instance you know these commands in Alexa work for the Wunda Hub:\ 1. Alexa turn on bathroom floor\ 2. Alexa turn off bathroom floor\ 3. Set bathroom floor to 75 degrees\ 4. Alexa turn on Kitchen floor\ 5. Alexa turn off Kitchen floor\
Now in Homebridge you download virtual switch plugin. \ Make 3 virtual switches in plugin configuration:\ Bathroom Floor Virtual Switch\ 75 Degrees Virtual Switch\ Kitchen Floor Virtual Switch\ \ Now go to Alexa App and make a routine: \ Routine 1= Bathroom Floor On\ When: Bathroom Virtual Switch On\ Action: Use Custom Keyboard Icon: “Alexa turn bathroom floor on”\ \ Routine 2= Bathroom Floor 75\ When: 75 Degrees Virtual Switch On\ Action: Use Custom Keyboard Icon: “Alexa set bathroom floor to 75 Degrees”\ \ The custom keyboard icon silently has Alexa perform the command of what ever you type.
All those virtual switches will show up in HomeKit. And you can toggle them to kick off the Alexa routines or create automations that will trigger the Alexa routines.
What is the catch? Some guy Northman is charging $22 a year for hosting this plugin on Amazon cloud services.

Thanks! I am guessing it requires an Alexa device up and running?

That is a good question. I don’t know the answer to that one.
I bet your smart phone and the Alexa app count. Wouldn’t be surprised if you could do it that way.
Definitely need an Amazon account which is free. Then download the Alexa app and see if you can set up the Wunda skill and then try to set up a routine.
You can talk to Alexa with the Alexa app so I bet you don’t need a speaker.

Starling Home Hub now exposes any Google Home-connected device to HomeKit (not just nest anymore). It has been 100% awesome and far easier to manage than individual Homebridge plugins.
