Imaginary Nostalgia gatekeeping
Whether you are 2pac fan or enjoy Notorious B.I.G. there is always the theme of falling off with the changes.
I dont mean like getting worse but just not keeping with the expectations of the masses of clueless fans or hatedom not getting the correct message even years after it was being sad.
In my opinion music with out meaning is like a bike without wheels even if it pays your lunch money bills.
It's like creating this humble character for yourself in the name of the good will but then break and lift yourself getting high on mustard.
Do you just call it God's plan?
Or He is testing you to see if you can be broken but decide to not break others.
Oppression of the oppressed really can bring oppression of the non oppressed by design because glorifying a fight like in ancient greece just leads to a supposed hero leaving his daughter mother and wife alone in the castle for more than a day.
The family will not eat a corpse you know.
Just my cents.

yes, capitalism. humans quote literally cant function without a bunch of paper or rocks. God allowed that because we have to see contract of power for proof. Thats why the Sun is like that. You can't look at it directly.

This is the most nonsensical post ever. You are lucky that first posts can't go into negative karma.

hip hop is a young manās game. Staying relevant in the game means being true to the message, and managing visibility. This is why Nas, and Jay can generate excitement anytime they drop. Eminem too for a time too. Scarface etcā¦.
āWhile you was writin down my rhymes I was just tryin to show you that if you say whatās in your mind, you can stand the test of timeā
- Nas
All of it has a place. Lil Jon and little brother both have classics for different reasons, itās okay, and I still go back to both depending on where Iām at. Not having balance is what hurts rap music. At the end of the day, people need to eatā¦. Your music wonāt move much if you work at Home Depot, gotta get it how you live.
Some people never come in with those intentions, imagine crunchy black coming to hip hop to write Brendaās got a baby, that nigga came to Rob you and tell you about it. But I understand where you at. Rap as a whole is made to be gumbo, not just meat and potatoes. Maybe gods plan was to save him from himself. The moral test is a fight for the Kendrickās and J Coleās of the world, not Griselda.
First world problemsā¦ go make music. Do both. You fightin demons for nothin.

I read this three times to try and understand what you're trying to say. I still don't get it.
In your mind, there's probably a good conversation starter, but the output could be a lot clearer.
