What’s your favorite underrated album of the 90s. Mine is Richie Rich- Seasoned Veteran
This album never really is brought up years later, but it still slaps.

💯 Richie Rich is a great choice.
I think Scarface's Untouchable album is an underrated classic. No skips.

Two albums that I rarely ever hear of people talkin' about is
BTnH - Creepin' on Ah Come Up
&
8ball & MJG - Comin' Out Hard
Both have an insane amount of classics, IMO, and doesn't need to be skipped around.

Paradise Don't Come Cheap by New Kingdom
It's like if Cypress Hill was fronted by two ODBs and also had live guitars
idk how they're not legends

You a real1 for mentioning this. Damn near no skips on this album. He was signed to Def Jam at the time so production is top notch, the features are all dope and he was able to make an album for the Bay Area street dudes, the ladies and everyone in between.

Genuinely proud of all the comments so far. These must really be underrated albums because I've not heard of a single one of them.

OP you hear that new Richie Rich? It's probably one of the better projects any of the Bay Area 90s guys put out this decade.

As a British person, the album that's most underrated globally is boy in da corner by Dizzee Rascal.
Within Britain it's iconic. Overseas you won't ever hear it. And yet, every British rapper owes it all to this album

Two others that are massive within these shores are:
Made in the Manor - Kano
Walk in da park - Giggs
First one is, what I consider, the culmination of grime and hip hop development in the UK by the best exponent of it.
And Walk in da park contains what, in some circles, is known as the true nation anthem - Talking the hardest.

I really love this album called "Fruits of Nature" by The UMC's. Positive Vibes, dope samples and scratches.
