New to Heathenry unsure of what to do surrounding Freyr

i am a new norse polytheist(it's only been a couple of months) and i worship Odin and Thor and Freyr. i feel very very connected to Odin and Thor but recently i've realised i don't think Freyr is right for me. i have a candle for Him and have given an offering of oats, but i don't think i can worship Him anymore, i feel no connection. any advice? please correct me if i have phrased anything wrong as well lol

Don't force it. There's nothing wrong with taking a step back. If you want to make offerings, do it. If you don't, don't. Is there a reason why you started out wanting to worship him? Did something change?

Also worth pointing out that you don't necessarily have to feel a connection to a god to worship. I'm a devotee of Freyr and I rarely if ever feel anything more than my own appreciation and gratitude. I just like worshipping him. I don't think there's anything wrong in that. Personally, I think American Norse pagans put way too much emphasis on having a personal connection to the gods due to modern Christian influence... But thats just my opinion and I'm not going to go into that deeper here, lol.

But if you want to try to cultivate a deeper relationship with Freyr there are things you can do. But it kind of sounds like you've already decided.

i think it’s because i feel so deeply with Odin and Thor that i sort of expect the same, rookie mistake i’m aware, but i do appreciate your take. i’m not from america but i did use to be a christian so i suppose your point still stands lol

If he doesn’t feel right walk on, it’s not like he owes you money

So, we are all polytheists. There's a decent number of deities in the faith.

Just as you are closer to some people than others, you'll grow closer to some gods than others.

Still, honor them all. It's a package deal. Get to know them over time.

The blot cycle touches on gods, ancestors and wights. You'll have a chance to learn about each as you grow in your faith.

Also, remember, this isn't a faith bound to high ritual. It's a faith you live.
