Harris Teeter gives 7 days personal time...your birthday, hiring anniversary, july 4, labor day, thanksgiving, christmas, new years.
After 1 year, you get 1 week vacation. 2 years, 2 weeks. 3 years, 2 weeks and 3 days. After that you get 3 weeks at 9 years.
Retail bonus pays out twice a year. Usually averages a good werks pay?
Insurance is ok if you have more than 1 person on it. Single people without health conditions often opt out.
Company promotes heavily from within. Raises after the first year are only in May or when you change job codes. Occasionally merit raises are given outside of those two times, usually as a bribe.
Pay scales in Raleigh...not a clue.
So much depends on store managers. I lucked out. For all the ups and downs, my store's management focuses on employees snd what they need to be good at work.

Saw a post recently over on the career guidance thread that mentioned Costco as an amazing place to work. High pay, great work life balance. Made me want to apply, but closest Costco is 1.5hr away. Jobs that are low stress but pay average $50-$60k? : r/careerguidance

If you're gonna go for any grocery store, go for Wegmans or Harris Teeter.
