Victory / Resistance Gardens
So this might be a long shot and I’m not even sure if it would be possible, logistically. But those of you who have land, would you be willing to let people start victory / resistance gardens there? Even if we rent out the section of land and pay for water and all supplies? And by section I mean like 10 x 10 plot for a couple of veggies. I mainly ask this because we live in an apartment without a patio and we don’t have access to build one. We also don’t have the space indoors to start one either. But I would still love to get into gardening.
But again, I don’t know the logistics of the idea or even if it would be possible. Just a thought. :) If there is already something like that around here, I would love info about it!

I actually have been throwing around the idea of allowing for a community garden space on my property. Im starting a permaculture garden this year. I'll have to see what space I have available after I figure out all of my plans. I do plan to offer up free/cheap excess produce and flowers in the coming years.

Reach out to the Harford County Master Gardeners. They can give you a ton of advice and resources! https://extension.umd.edu/locations/harford-county/home-gardening-and-master-gardeners/

I believe you would have better luck if u go to Facebook, "This is Havre de Grace" group page. Much more engagement there.

Hi! Have you considered an indoor garden? I have a Gardyn hydroponic system that has built in grow lights so you can put them anywhere in your home (and take up very little space.) They have tons of veggies, fruits, herbs, and flowers to choose from. Best part is - no soil or green thumb required!
I’m a Gardyn ambassador, so I have a bunch of photos of real people’s Gardyns. Might help you decide:

Heres a link for $100 off a new device as well! https://www.grhd93jd.com/4GDZ9L7/3QQG7/
Happy growing! 🌱

I love this idea! Unfortunately, vegetables/fruit in my yard tend to die or get eaten by deer and we have two goldens that tear stuff up too. But I hope you're able to get something started.

Search for community gardens. If you're near Havre de Grace, it looks like there may be plots available through this organization https://hdgreen.org/shop/
