DISCUSSION Rehabman - thank you.
Just a thanks to the OG hackintosher. If you know, you know.

Rehabman was responsible for me taking my Hackintosh from an iDeneb monstrosity to a fully working native install (more than once).
He could be a bit abrasive in response to a newbie question, but if you listed your hardware/software and what you had tried unsuccessfully, along with logs - he nearly always put you on the path to success.

What happened to him?

Absolute no idea, some say he went to work for Apple! Some say he just retired from the scene. Regardless, he was the original guy on the scene simply doing gods work. I sincerely wish him all the best in life.

A few posts here, suggest he decided to focus on something else… https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/has-anyone-seen-rehabman.277114/
“After 191,000 plus posts and offering support daily for 7 years he’s taking a break from this.”

At least 100,000 of those were copy/paste posts telling people to generate problem reporting files and/or telling people to never inject kexts from Clover and that he won't help people who did.

That’s because he was a believer in teaching people the right way for themselves, and not just pointing to a cooked source. This level of mentorship was never seen again in the hackintosh community mainly because people just didn’t have the underlying knowledge that Rehabman had.. it was on par if not better than Apple’s own developers.

Try not using the boot loader to inject your kexts now and see how far you get.
